  I feel incredibly lucky to have found Footsteps Child Care. It’s rare to find so many wonderful qualities in one place—Spanish language immersion, strong educational values, a nurturing environment, and teachers who genuinely care about children. Kristen and the staff are warm, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and their passion shines through in everything they do. Knowing my children can learn, grow, and be cared for in such a positive environment gives me great peace of mind. We are excited to be starting the summer program in July and are truly grateful to have found this special place.

  I recently toured Footsteps Mid-City and was very impressed. From the moment I walked in, the space felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed with young children in mind. The classrooms and play areas were engaging, well-organized, and created an environment that encourages learning, creativity, and exploration. What stood out most was meeting Kristin, the owner, and Mercy, the director. Both were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about creating a high-quality environment for children and families. They took the time to answer questions, walk me through the program, and share the vision behind the school. Their dedication and genuine care were evident throughout the tour. It’s clear that a tremendous amount of thought and effort has gone into every aspect of Footsteps Mid-City. The combination of a beautiful, thoughtfully designed space, strong leadership, and a warm community-focused atmosphere left a lasting impression on me. I would absolutely encourage families to schedule a tour and see it for themselves.

  We attended Footsteps in Playa Vista for three years, which really says it all. From the moment we met the director, Kristin, we knew this was the perfect place for our family. Her background in early childhood development and psychology is rare in a preschool setting, but it’s her warmth, intuition, and ability to truly see the best in each child that make her exceptional. I trust no one more with my child than her and the team she’s so intentional about choosing. Footsteps offers a beautifully well‑rounded program including music, art, gardening, early academics, and endless opportunities for curiosity and confidence to grow. It’s the most balanced preschool experience we’ve found in Los Angeles. We recently toured the Mid City location and absolutely loved it. The space is open, inviting, and thoughtfully designed for exploration. There are cozy reading nooks, outdoor play areas, climbing structures, and plenty of room for kids to play and learn. The new director at the Mid City location, Mercy, was my child‘s teacher in Playa Vista for a long time. She is attentive, thoughtful, and great at communicating with parents. But above all, she is pure love and joy. If you want true peace of mind, knowing your child is not only safe and cared for but also nurtured and supported as they grow at their own pace, Footsteps is the place. ❤️

  We toured many schools in the area, however, this campus absolutely stood out! It’s important to us that our kids go to a school where they’re encouraged to learn through play, hands-on learning, music, art, movement, exc. While walking through Footsteps Mid- City, I got giddy thinking of all of the wonderful opportunities it presented for our kiddos. I know once they see the beautiful artwork painted on the walls (including a giant world map), slides, outdoor play area, climbing areas, floor space, flexible seating, toys, huge bookshelves, and even nooks to read in, they’ll be so excited to learn!! Highly recommend.10/10
