What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • My son has attended this preschool since of last year and we have had such an amazing experience at four seasons academy. My son has autism and he was non verbal when he first started school and with the great help of Teacher Ms Victoria he showed tremendous improvement. He started talking and participating so much in the classroom. He even learned how to fully potty train last year. Teacher Ms Victoria always gave me progress on my son and always stayed on top of his needs as her student. I’m so grateful to have found this preschool he was able to adjust perfectly in T-k this year. Thank you four seasons academy and the director Mrs. Angie for all your outstanding help. Definitely will be coming back for my youngest to attend here.

  • We love having our child at Four Seasons Daycare. It’s a warm and fun place where our child feels happy and safe every day. One of the best parts is that it’s bilingual. The kids learn and hear both English and Spanish during songs, stories, and playtime. Our child has picked up so much in both languages without feeling pressured. The teachers make learning very interactive. The kids do hands-on activities, sing songs, make art, and play games that help them learn while having a great time. The staff is kind, patient, and always keeps us updated on our child’s behavior. We’re so happy we found this academy. It’s a great mix of learning, language, and play. Highly recommend it to any family looking for a caring and creative preschool.

  • The reason I’m rating this 1 star is for the lack of empathy and understanding towards children who present disabilities. I have learned that my cousin was excluded from Mother’s Day event because of his behavior. This is completely unacceptable. As a parent you expect that if your child has a disability that it is acknowledged and accepted by staff it should be supported and they should be capable of handling the situation. Excluding and preventing the child from participating is not the correct way to help your child understand and change the outcome. On the contrary is very hurtful and children can be emotionally confused and saddened. As a mother I’m extremely hurt and would never want my babies to attend this academy if no changes are implemented. What a shame that my family had to experience such disrespectful event. I hope if you are considering to have your children here, changes be made on the staff’s behalf so no other parent/child has to go through discrimination.

  • My Wife and I decided to leave our kid here.Best decision. He's learning and getting taken care of by caring and loving people. Would recommend to anyone who wants a trustworthy daycare.

  • My cousin who has special needs was excluded from dancing for Mother’s Day. I find this upsetting schools should accommodate students with special needs not exclude them. I was in special ed and had IEP as well and this is wrong in many ways. If you have a kid with special needs enroll them in a public school they have access to more licensed teachers in special education that can meet your child’s needs.

  • I’m updating this review to provide additional context and clarify my experience for other families, especially those with children who have special needs. I enrolled my autistic son in this daycare after being assured they could accommodate his specific needs. I made his diagnosis and support requirements very clear during the enrollment process. Unfortunately, after only two days, the director informed me that they could not continue to provide care for him due to behavioral concerns. weeks later, I received a payment request for an amount significantly higher than the agreed-upon part-time rate. Despite multiple attempts to communicate, I was not given an itemized receipt or a copy of the signed contract. I’ve reached out in person and by phone but have not received a response. I also want to address concerns around how my son’s needs were handled. The director stated that my son was aggressive — saying he pinched and kicked — which led to his dismissal on day two. However, in both his IEP and at his previous daycare, he was never reported as being aggressive. Yes, he experiences meltdowns and may refuse instruction — common for autistic children — but his former educators confirmed he has never shown aggression toward staff. This makes me question whether there was a full understanding or proper approach to supporting a neurodivergent child. While I respect the director’s honesty in acknowledging they were not equipped to support my son’s needs, I wish there had been a more thorough evaluation before accepting him into the program. Doing so would have saved both of us time, stress, and disappointment. In addition, there were serious concerns around how my son’s allergy protocol was handled. It wasn’t until I asked directly how they manage allergies that the director acknowledged she had seen his peanut allergy on the form — but admitted she hadn’t thoroughly reviewed whether he required medication. Only after our conversation was I provided with the appropriate forms for his EpiPen. This experience showed a lack of preparedness and follow-through in both special needs care and allergy management. For families seeking a program that demonstrates a strong understanding of neurodiversity, clear communication, and thorough attention to detail, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Questions parents ask about FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY

Is FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY holds California licence 376701553, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on May 30, 2024. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY hold?

California licenses FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY as a single licensed child care center, a category that covers infant, preschool and school-age care under a single licence. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY care for?

FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY is licensed for up to 40 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY?

California records 1 inspection visit to FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY, the most recent on December 18, 2025. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY in response to a complaint?

California records 1 complaint-driven visit to FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.

Who holds the licence for FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY?

The licence is held by FOUR SEASONS ACADEMY LLC. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in San Diego County.
