Licensing visits on record

California records 0 routine inspection visits and no visits prompted by a complaint to FUTURE VALLEY ACADEMY.

What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • Future Valley has been an excellent after-school program for our child! It has an ideal blend of play and Chinese and math instruction. The teachers also help our child with his school homework while he is there. Cherie truly cares about the kids. She provides regular updates, is exceptionally responsive, and posts pictures so we know what our child is doing during the day. The environment is well organized and welcoming, with plenty of toys, crafts, and fun activities for the kids. There’s a small playground as well. They also offer pickup from local schools, and it’s remarkable how Cherie keeps track of the various pickup schedules. This is a great place for both Chinese and non-Chinese families. We are so grateful to have found such a fun, caring and safe place for our child to spend time while we are at work! Our child often doesn’t want to go home when we pick him up!

  • We had a great experience with Future Valley during my son’s kindergarten year. Pickup was very convenient, and the teachers were attentive and caring. They shared regular feedback on his academics, behavior, and social-emotional development, which really helped ease my worries about the preschool to kindergarten transition. The Chinese instruction was individualized and engaging, and my son loved the crafts and activities. Overall, it gave me real peace of mind. We are coming back for first grade and definitely recommend Future Valley to other families.

  • The abacus program at Future Valley in San Mateo is fantastic! My child’s confidence in math has improved so much in just a few months. He now solves problems quickly in his head and enjoys challenging himself. It’s amazing to see how the teachers encourage students to think differently and build strong study habits at such a young age. Great choice for families in the Bay Area.

  • We are very happy with the after-school program at Future Valley here in the Mid-Peninsula. The staff keeps the kids engaged with a mix of academics, art, and playtime. My daughter especially enjoys the enrichment classes—they make learning feel exciting rather than stressful. The environment is safe, welcoming, and feels like a second home. Highly recommend to other parents in the Bay Area who are looking for a balanced program.

  • Future Valley Academy has been a wonderful place for my son. The teachers are patient, kind, and really care about each child’s progress. I love that they combine learning with fun activities, so he’s always excited to go. The daily updates and photos give me peace of mind, and I can clearly see how much he is growing both socially and academically.

  • My little one has been attending Future Valley Summer Camp for the past two years, and we’ve had such a wonderful experience! The teachers are incredibly loving and caring—they provide updates regularly and guide the children in a way that makes the environment fun and enjoyable. It truly feels like a place where kids can play, learn, and thrive. They also offer after-school programs, where the children have a great time and build lasting friendships.

Questions parents ask about FUTURE VALLEY ACADEMY

Is FUTURE VALLEY ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. FUTURE VALLEY ACADEMY holds California licence 414005362, currently listed as "PENDING" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does FUTURE VALLEY ACADEMY hold?

California licenses FUTURE VALLEY ACADEMY as a single licensed child care center, a category that covers infant, preschool and school-age care under a single licence. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can FUTURE VALLEY ACADEMY care for?

FUTURE VALLEY ACADEMY is licensed for up to 30 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

Has California visited FUTURE VALLEY ACADEMY in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to FUTURE VALLEY ACADEMY. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for FUTURE VALLEY ACADEMY?

The licence is held by KEYSTONE INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION SERVICE. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in San Mateo County.
