Our family has been a part of The Good Earth School community for a few years and both of my kids have had an amazing experience. The nature-based approach is truly special! It gives kids a chance to learn and play in a way that feels organic and meaningful. The community of families is warm and welcoming, and that sense of belonging has been so valuable for our whole family. All of my kids' teachers over the years have genuinely cared about the kids and put so much thought into creating curriculum that is engaging and fun. We feel so lucky to have found this place!

The first time we visited TGES, we knew it was the right school for our child. It is set in a wooded plot in the hills with plenty of outdoor space for kids to play. The curriculum is focused around outdoor time. The teacher and administrative teams are dedicated to building an outstanding experience for the kids. There is a lot of heart and thought that goes into a school like this, and Gail and Alan are an incredible pair of leaders. It may not be the right school for every kid, but if your kid wants to learn about the world through nature, this may be the school for you.

We are about to finish our time with The Good Earth School after both kids attended multiple years of pre-school. We have been absolutely thrilled with the kids time there. From the amazing owners to the caring staff, we have been so pleased with the education, facilities, warmth, and importantly, the beautiful life skills and emotional learning our kids participated in at Good Earth School. We’re so sad to be leaving! We highly recommend TGES and encourage you to check them out if you’re looking for an excellent preschool.

We're coming up on a year with our daughter in the two's program at The Good Earth School, and it's been such a gift. She absolutely adores her teachers, who she talks about at home like they're her closest friends, and she lights up learning about nature, space, and other cultures through play and books. So much of her day is spent outside hiking and exploring, and you can see how it's shaped her, she's grown into such an independent little person with a real spirit of adventure. The curriculum feels thoughtfully designed, the staff are experienced and full of kindness, and the parent community is warm and welcoming. I can't recommend it enough!

Our daughter has been at The Good Earth School for almost a year in the two’s program and we’ve had an amazing experience! She’s loved learning about nature, space, culture, etc, through play/reading and getting to spend a lot of time outdoors hiking and exploring. The program is so well rounded; the teachers and staff are experienced, kind, and loving; and the parent community is very involved and friendly. Highly recommend!

Our family has been part of The Good Earth School community since my six year old was 18 months old, and his younger sibling has been attending TGES preschool too. Five years in, we’d make the same decision again without hesitation. When kindergarten came around, we kept my older child at TGES because it’s so well-tuned to his particular needs. His teachers understood him and consistently went above and beyond for both kids in ways that really touched us. The weekly newsletters are something I didn’t expect to love as much as I do. Beautiful pictures of whatever adventure the kids had that week, plus an explanation of the theme and activities. It makes it so much easier to connect with my kids about their days! TGES kids come away curious, inclusive, and thoughtful. I’ve noticed it in public school settings with how I see good earth kids approach others. The parent community has also been an unexpected gift. We’ve made friends for life. I highly recommend TGES for families who want a nature-based, child-centered approach.
