What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

Oh the horror of kids playing the drums and noise being made in the daytime. Whoever the idiot is complaining kids are to loud well sir that’s their job. As for blocking the driveway it’s not a whole day thing it’s for a little while to pick kids up. I thought it takes a village to raise kids but the village is being dumb about it. Learn that the world doesn’t revolve around you, also it’s ok to help or ignore something too just because it doesn’t satisfy you.
ripsime minasyanJul 14, 2026Why do parents block the driveways of neighbors. It's so selfish. Why isn't LAUSD and the principal having a meeting about this? Don't block the driveways when picking up your kids.
Cool In LAMay 1, 2025This is a school full of lovely hard-working teachers who care. Some have been working in this field for over 30 years. The principal hosts monthly check-ins with the parents and participation is highly encouraged. When we did our initial walkthrough kids ran up to Principal Lee from every classroom and hugged her like their favorite auntie. My 3 year-old child has grown so much over the past year. He loves his teachers and at pick up I always get a really thorough update about how his day went from Ms. Jun. If you’re considering this school please schedule a walk-through and see for yourself how warm and playful it is.
Hannah ParsonsFeb 3, 2025They have this drum which is so annoying they use it and feels like someone is doing a construction job by putting a hammer on the walls but fast they disturb the whole neighborhood and the noise is hazardous to children too. I told them to stop this but they were like these were donated to us and it's expensive and we need to use it. Absolutely a horrible experience. They do this everyday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM one hour and in the afternoon around 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Please do not bring your children here unless you want them to have hearing problems in the future. Also I went to them for 3rd time instead of being reasonable they threaten me to call the police get restraining order, I have never committed a single crime in my entire lifetime these are the kind of people that runs this school they threaten you by a false complain to the police. They also told me that this annoying drum will help children develop their skill in music so they are going to keep it. I also made no threats towards them I even gave my number and name as well as where I live does that sound like someone who is going to make threats with all that information given willingly. I asked them very nicely to stop this and they acted like its not their problem that I should put up with it and forced me to leave or they call the police.

Is GRANT STREET EARLY EDUCATION CENTER a licensed child care provider in California?
- Yes. GRANT STREET EARLY EDUCATION CENTER holds California licence 191890358, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on March 20, 1994. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.
What kind of child care licence does GRANT STREET EARLY EDUCATION CENTER hold?

How many children can GRANT STREET EARLY EDUCATION CENTER care for?
- GRANT STREET EARLY EDUCATION CENTER is licensed for up to 164 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.
How often has California inspected GRANT STREET EARLY EDUCATION CENTER?
- California records 3 inspection visits to GRANT STREET EARLY EDUCATION CENTER, the most recent on March 20, 2026 and the earliest on record April 20, 2022. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.
Has California visited GRANT STREET EARLY EDUCATION CENTER in response to a complaint?
- California records no complaint-driven visits to GRANT STREET EARLY EDUCATION CENTER. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.
Who holds the licence for GRANT STREET EARLY EDUCATION CENTER?
- The licence is held by LAUSD/EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Los Angeles County.
