  My son thrived at Green Beginnings. This is a warm caring environment where children can learn and grow together and individually. Veronica and Keone are special and gifted educators and mentors to the children. The play based program also provides amazing social/emotional learning for the children to learn to understand their emotions and social interaction at an early age. Highly recommend to all parents in the area.

  My child went to Green Beginning for two years. Like most good preschools, it is a happy, fun, and very loving school. But what sets it apart from others to my mind, is the degree of social/emotional awareness and developmental understanding. The staff are very attuned the kids' experience and communicate effectively, treating them as students, playmates at times, and also as individuals deserving of autonomy and respect. This models behaviors that are fundamental but often overlooked at other preschools. We love this place and will miss it a lot. The kids are so sweet, the parents are nice, and they make the environmentalism fun. But what really makes this place run is love; respect, care, and giving from the people in this little community. The garden environment is also really nice, in the midst of a big city like LA it's nice when your kid can get dirty, play with plants and bugs, watch birds, and spend a lot of time outside in a natural space. Great school.

  We have loved our years at Green Beginnings. A hidden gem tucked away right under my nose and in our neighborhood! Wonderful loving teachers and emotionally aware curriculum and philosophy. This is the place for kids to be able to be kids and explore and be rough and tumble outdoors every day, while also learning and growing. Kids are free to get dirty and get messy - lots of sandbox and playground and planting and wholesome outdoors play. I also love that they have Spanish immersion programs. Green beginnings has been a wonderful place for our family and our son has blossomed here. We will miss you, Green Beginnings ❤️

  Both my children attended Green Beginnings. I am so grateful to Veronica and Keone for creating such a nurturing environment for them to grow. They are inquisitive, thoughtful, and find the joy in the little things - an appreciation that seems so rare in the digital age. Thank you for creating a space where kids can be kids -which was so vital during Covid when many schools were closed. It’s been so long, I can’t remember how I found out about them, but so glad I did.

  Both my children attended Green Beginning and loved it, we are sad to leave now that they are moving on to grade school. The hands on nature based learning approach enables children to immerse themselves in the lush outdoor garden environment. The teachers are passionate and devoted to the children's needs. Children are given ongoing independence and support to flourish into kind, environmentally conscious, and emotionally mature humans. Veronica & Keone have created a truly magical space for our children to learn and thrive. My husband and I are forever grateful for the support we have received from this incredible community.
