Licensing visits on record

California records 0 routine inspection visits and no visits prompted by a complaint to HADLEY SCHOOL, THE.

What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • A Long Overdue Thank You to Hadley School Our children attended Hadley School from 2022 to 2025, and we truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. This school was an incredible blessing for our family, especially as working parents. The extended hours, the dedicated staff, and the programs made a world of difference for us. We couldn’t have made it through the past three years without Hadley School! There are several things that incoming parents might not know from the website, so I wanted to highlight a few features that we loved from Hadley School: 1. Extended Hours: The school is open from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, which is great for working families. Children can begin as early as age 2 in the daycare program and transition into pre-K. The school currently offers classes for children from pre-K through 2nd grade. 2. Daily Updates: Hadley uses an app to send regular updates throughout the day. It brought us peace of mind to see photos and notes about what our kids were doing while we were at work. 3. Year-Round Care: The school is open year-round (with just a few holiday closures). They also offer an amazing summer program where the kids enjoy arts and crafts, swimming, field trips, and so much more during the summer months. 4. Small Class Sizes: The small class sizes ensure more one-on-one time for each student. This has been a huge plus for our children’s development. The kids also participate in music, STEAM, and summer swim classes. The teachers make every day special and fun. To any parents considering Hadley School: Enroll your child! You won’t regret it. A heartfelt thank you to Miss Kim, Miss Renia, Miss Elizabeth, Miss Sam, Miss Debbie, Miss Diane, and the entire Hadley staff. You have been such an important part of our children’s early years, and we are forever grateful. The Moyas🤍

  • I was a student at Hadley PreSchool from 1960 until 1962. To this day I have such fond memories of the school and Aunt Julie. Any child would be fortunate to attend.

  • This review is way overdue.....50 years to be exact. As a 3 year old child I attended Hadley Preschool. I still look back on my time there with very fond memories. Today, while looking at google earth, I was happy, and surprised to see that the pool is still there. It was because of this pool and the teachers who were willing to teach us, that I learned how to swim at 3 years old!! Back then we were also taught Spanish. Though I cannot attest to the staff that runs this school today, I can say with certainty that I had an awesome experience there and have never forgotten my time there. I even remember a few of my little classmates! I hope they are as good now as they were then!!!

  • I am very pissed off with this school, My son isn't even enrolled. I called to try and enroll my son who is 3! My son is not fully potty trained. She went on to tell me how by the age of 3 children need to be potty trained and etc basically talking down to me. I explained to her that my son has PDD which means he is delayed developmentally.I told her because my son has a disability he can't come here? He is just like every other child beside not being fully potty trained. She proceed to put e on hold and i just hung up the phone. How dare you talk down to me the mother of a wonderful child with slight disability now I know not to trust my son here. They might want to discipline hi for something he can't help. I am extremely upset and on the verge of tears due to fact that someone could be so cruel HE IS A CHILD AND HE IS LOVED!

  • By far the best school/summer program my two little ones have EVER attended. The staff there are so kind to all the children. My kids come home everyday and share with me all their actitivies for the day. And they don't want to be picked up earlier! "to me that says a lot".

  • I had heard great things about this school and I was very disappointed. I read online review and heard reviews from 2 people so I was very excited for my son to attend this school. My son is 3 1/2 and this was his first time ever at school and he had never been at a day care. On his first day he was VERY happy and excited to be there. By approximately 11a.m. I got a call from the director telling me that I needed to come pick up my son because he was not acclimating well. She mentioned that he would not nap(his first time at school, not used to timed naps), he would not stay on his nap mat for 2 hours(as is state required, who gets a 3 year old to stay still for 2 hours?), he was too distracted by toys to do arts n crafts like the other or sit through story time(again his first time at a school EVER) and she stated he was not a fit for that school and that it would not work out for him. After ONLY HALF A DAY! I could understand if they gave him at least a week but they only had him for half a day and said he did not fit in well and would be best he did not return. I was very heartbroken for my son who was so excited to go to school. The director also asked me if my son had a hearing problem. I told her no he does not. She mentioned that during the day thunder hit and the other kids covered their ears but he did not. I mentioned to her that during New Years Day, fireworks were going off in the distance and he would ask me "mom what's that? fireworks?". She then said to me "oh he's like a dog, some dogs react to noise and others don't". I couldn't believe what I heard and hung up and called my husband to pick him up. After some struggle I got ALL of my money back, although she did not think, at first, that I should get back my registration fee of $50 or $25 for the school shirt I paid. This place charges $140 a week! It is not worth it and I am sorely disappointed in this place.
