  We looked into many schools before choosing this one, and even though there weren’t many reviews online, we found one comment from a parent in the community recommending it. Looking back, I truly feel so lucky that we came across that recommendation because this school has been amazing for our family. It’s a small school, but that’s exactly what makes it so special. The teachers genuinely care for the children and treat them with so much love, patience, and attention. The school also offers a variety of fun and engaging activities that our child really enjoys. Not only does our child love this school, but both my husband and I do as well. We’ve felt supported, welcomed, and thankful to be part of this community. I highly recommend this school to other families looking for a warm and caring environment for their children.

  Ms. Meenakshi and Ms. Barbara are truly wonderful teachers who genuinely care about each child. They create such a warm, loving, and nurturing environment where the kids feel safe, happy, and excited to come to school every day. It is clear how much thought and care they put into helping the children learn, grow, and enjoy their time together. The kids have so much fun while also learning important skills, building confidence, and developing friendships. We are very grateful for the kindness, patience, and dedication of the teachers and for the positive experience this school has given our child. It is a special place, and we feel very lucky to be part of this school community.

  We love Heffalump. They have been so kind to our little one, helped him grow in so many ways and encouraged what makes him so unique and such a happy kid. Ms.Meenakshi and Ms.Barbara have been working together for a lifetime and it shows. There is no growing stage they don't know how to coach a kid through with kindness. The egg timer method for potty training works, so well. They encourage such kindness and friendships between the kids. There's a healthy playdate culture of kids developing friendships beyond school. I also appreciate that their hours are very supportive to working parents. Being able to send my older kid to Heffalump when his school had soo many out of school days has been an immense help. I highly recommend Heffalump for a supportive and encouraging environment for 2 - 4 year olds.

  Heffalump School is truly the best preschool — no exaggeration! My husband and I visited many preschools, but Heffalump was the only one that gave us that instant “this is it!” feeling. We were confident that even though our son didn’t speak English at the time, he would have a wonderful experience here — and we were absolutely right. Teacher Meenakshi and Teacher Barbara were truly born to be preschool teachers. Their love and care for the children are exceptional, and you can feel that they genuinely enjoy caring for and nurturing each child. That gives parents such a deep sense of trust and comfort. Throughout the year, the children experience so many wonderful things — a summer music concert with a professional violinist, harvesting organic plums and grapes from the school garden, making Halloween pumpkins, celebrating birthdays, doing “caring and sharing,” learning phonics and numbers, observing ladybugs, and creating many fun crafts. We also love how the kids grow their own plants and play together across different age groups. As working parents, we also really appreciate that the school has very few holidays — it’s been such a big help for our family. Our son is so lucky to have spent his early childhood at Heffalump, surrounded by warmth, creativity, and love. The memories we made here will always be a treasure for our family.

  We absolutely love Heffalump! This was my son’s very first school experience, so as you can imagine, I was a bit anxious about how he would adapt. But in just a few short weeks, it became so clear that he feels safe, secure, and loved every day. The teachers are truly exceptional; kind, patient, loving, and deeply considerate. They have created such a nurturing environment where kids can learn, explore, and grow while also having so much fun. My son’s speech has grown exponentially, and his confidence and joy shine every time he talks about school. I feel so lucky to have found Heffalump, I honestly can’t imagine a better fit for him. If you’re looking for a place where your child will feel at home, cared for, and excited to learn alongside peers, this is the right place! My son wants to go to his teachers everyday😄 This is such a blessing🙏 I can’t thank the wonderful teachers at Heffalump enough for everything they do. 💛

  What truly sets this preschool apart is the teaching staff. They are not only experienced but genuinely invested in each child’s development - both intellectually and emotionally. Activities teaching letters, numbers, and other fundamentals keep our daughter engaged and excited to learn. Perfect combination of developing academic skills and learning kindness and forming wonderful friendships. Highly recommend!
