Licensing visits on record
California records 0 routine inspection visits and no visits prompted by a complaint to HEMINGWAY PARK.
What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

Nice place to play pickleball. Nice courts and nets. The people were all friendly. Much nicer than Peck but the level of play is not quite as high as peck
johndhchoiJun 17, 2026I just started water aerobics at 7am and the pool is lukewarm. We are people of a certain age this is inexcusable the pool need to be fully heated.
Regina Perryman-DuerodMar 24, 2026We had a fantastic evening at night swim. The water temperature was perfect, lots of laughter, singing to the oldie. This is such a fun, and exuberance time to get in the water to have a restful bedtime. Kudos to Ms. Jewel for her presence.
MJ HawkDec 9, 2025Needs shower stalls and colder water in showers..needs lockers that we can buy our own locks to use instead of coins. Needs shade its hot but thats bc I have multiplesclerosis and right now the school is having classes in this pool area. Could be for them to learn since im a public health whistleblower but could be maybe they are trying to kill me because I talk and cry when I get hurt.
Kristena MorenoNov 8, 2025This is a wonderful park. But I have only been to the pool area this far. The park look spacious and plenty of run around room. But again my family and I have only been to the pool area
Robert Hinton Jr.Oct 24, 2025Great family park. Several sports year round for kids. Only problem hours on website say park is open until 9pm on Sunday but it exactly closes at 5pm. You no longer have access to bathrooms nor pickleball court after 5pm.

Questions parents ask about HEMINGWAY PARK
Is HEMINGWAY PARK a licensed child care provider in California?
- Yes. HEMINGWAY PARK holds California licence 191606924, currently listed as "INACTIVE" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on September 29, 1992. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.
What kind of child care licence does HEMINGWAY PARK hold?
- California licenses HEMINGWAY PARK as a school age day care center, a category that covers school-age children outside school hours. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can HEMINGWAY PARK care for?
- HEMINGWAY PARK is licensed for up to 30 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.
Has California visited HEMINGWAY PARK in response to a complaint?
- California records no complaint-driven visits to HEMINGWAY PARK. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.
Who holds the licence for HEMINGWAY PARK?
- The licence is held by CITY OF CARSON. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Los Angeles County.
