What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • My son has been a student at Red School for years. He was special needs and with the red schools staff introventions, he has thrived. Today a person would not notice that my son has learning and speech impediments. If it was not for this school my son would not be as successful as he is today. The schools top priority is the children's safety. I would visit different times of the day and I was very satisfied with the teacher to child ratio, providing a caring & safe environment to learn, and how they nurtured each child differently to meet their needs. When my son did struggle or I had a concern it would be addressed right away. All I had to do is talk to the teachers and staff. The red school was very prompt in resolving any concerns that a parent might have especially when concerned a child. I have recommended this school to my family, friends, and my nurse coworkers to the red school. They have been very satisfied with this school. I travel over 48 miles when I work or 96 miles when I don't work so my son can attend the red school. If I have another child, I would enroll them in the this school. This school can't be beat. The teachers changed my sons educational path. They have helped him to talk, read, socialize, problem solve, write, math, science, and many other skills. They find different ways to teach any subject to every child. My son has all the skills he needs to be successful in life.

  • I sent both our kids here, and we had a fantastic experience! The teachers are well trained and personally cared about the wellbeing of our boys. They enjoyed going every day, and the education was invaluable. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking at preschools.

  • My child started at the red school and we are so unbelievably happy! My two year old loves her teachers and is so excited to go to school in the morning! The teachers are amazing and create a safe environment for the children. Thank you IMS

  • SAFETY, SUPERVISION, AND EDUCATIONAL CONCERNS 1. During my children’s enrollment at the school, I observed ongoing concerns related to supervision, safety, and educational support. 2. On multiple occasions, the adult-to-child supervision ratio appeared inconsistent with applicable requirements, including periods where adequate adult presence was not maintained. 3. I observed practices suggesting that attendance or supervision records were adjusted in ways that did not accurately reflect actual conditions at the school. 4. My children experienced physical injuries while enrolled, as well as emotional distress, which required intervention and removal from the environment. 5. I also observed educational regression, including difficulties with foundational reading and writing skills during kindergarten and early elementary periods. 6. Despite raising concerns, corrective measures were not implemented in a manner that ensured my children’s safety or educational wellbeing. 7. Based on these experiences, I concluded that the environment was not appropriate for my children, and I removed them to protect their physical, emotional, and educational needs.

Questions parents ask about INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL

Is INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL holds California licence 198011204, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on January 31, 2005. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL hold?

California licenses INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL care for?

INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL is licensed for up to 48 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL?

California records 3 inspection visits to INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL, the most recent on February 18, 2026 and the earliest on record June 14, 2022. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL in response to a complaint?

California records 1 complaint-driven visit to INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.

Who holds the licence for INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL?

The licence is held by MYLSENZIE, A LIMITED COMPANY, LLC. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Los Angeles County.
