Licensing visits on record

California records 0 routine inspection visits and no visits prompted by a complaint to INTERNATIONAL PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN.

What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • This school is now under new management and under the name DeJesus Academy. They have infant through TK classes available. We’ve been with the owners since 2023 when they were operating their daycare out of a home. When they informed us they will be expanding and opening a small school we were immediately interested in transitioning our little one. School hours range from 7:30 am - 5:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 am - 5:00pm on Friday. All the teachers there are so kind and attentive. They pay special attention to each one of the kids. They celebrate holidays and plan special events for the kids through out the year as well as birthdays. Breakfast and lunch, with snacks in between are included. But families are welcome to pack a lunch for their child. Each class room focuses on different activities depending on the age group. They have indoor and outdoor activities. For the older kids you can expect one nap time during the day. The facility is clean, and undergoing some upgrades. The school is locked and secured to ensure no unwanted visitors enter. They utilize the brightwheel app to communicate with the family as well as keep you updated on how your child is doing with playtime, eating, nap time, potty updates, and health status. The owners, Joc and Mike, along with their staff pour so much love and care into their work. We couldn’t feel more blessed to be able to take our children there and trust them with the care!

  • I thought LONG and hard about this review before I wrote it. My child was “given” the opportunity to go to this school in September/October of 2022. If your child suffers from any type of issue that makes them less than “perfect” in their eye, do not sign up. My child did, in fact, have issues with nap time, class interruption, and inability to regulate emotion. To any other PROPERLY trained school official this would have been cause for an IEP or 504 meeting. To them, however it was cause for unenrolling my child. According to California state law, a child cannot be removed from a school (suspended or expelled) due to mental illness and/or a disability. According to International Preschool and Kindergarten, a child can. I still remember to this day crying to the director and telling her that I was trying everything I could to correct the behavior. She of course, inserted her two cents and recommend I take away all of my child’s extracurriculars and enforce punishment at home. I did, in fact, do this and had no positive result. I also expressed to her that I was getting my child evaluated by a doctor and was actively looking for a mental health professional to properly evaluate my child. Very unsympathetic was she, and began to tell me that since her own grandchild couldn’t sit still, they also wouldn’t be able to attend the school. I beg you to properly consider this school before wasting your money. Unfair practices against children’s mental health happen here. No thanks to her, I was able to properly get my child diagnosed and with the help of a PROPER and EDUCATED staff, my child is thriving and above grade level.

  • My youngest currently attends IPSK and my oldest who is now in Kindergarten graduated from IPSK last June 23'. I am beyond happy, statisfied, and impressed with the education this school provides to the students. I had a parent teacher conference for my kindergardner and the teacher has shared that he is advanced for his age, she can read his writing, stories, and colors beautifully. I have seen alot of improvements on my two boys since they started IPSK in 2021. They learn respect, kindess, discipline and confidence. IPSK also has an annual holiday and end of school program. I love watching their performance to see all the students recite a poem and remember their dance routine at such a young age. We're definitely proud parents. Thank you IPSK!

  • You can tell the teachers really care for the little ones here. I’ve had two daughters attend IPSK and I believe they have been fully prepared for kindergarten. So much that even their new teachers were surprised at their reading and writing skills. It’s also very affordable compared to other preschools.

  • Great way to introduce children into school environment. My child started attending summer of 2018 as a beginner. They played games, had fun activities and took trips to the library. During school season, they taught my child shapes, numbers, letters, colors, to write their name, recite short poem, memorize dance routines, and follow simple instructions. They also go home with fun and engaging homework. International Preschool & Kindergarten is doing a wonderful job in preparing children for regular school.

  • IPSK offers a great opportunity for children to learn the social and academic expectations of school. My two children and many of my nieces and nephews got their start at IPSK. The staff and teachers are dedicated and caring. I love that IPSK incorporates the performing arts into their daily curriculum. What a treat for many parents to watch their children bloom, especially during performances. I highly recommend IPSK to parents looking for a strong and nurturing start for their child.
