  My son started KJA late into the year. We were looking for a more structured environment to help prepare him for TK. This was exactly what we were looking for. Ana is amazing. She really does go above and beyond not only for the kids but also the families. We've seen improvement in his behavior, accountability, language and social engagement over the course of a couple of months. We were not looking for anything academic base because it will come in TK. We were looking for a place to help him develop into a independent and nurturing human being and we got that! We love you Ana and staff! You are a the bomb dot come and we couldn't ask for a better environment for Luca to be in.

  The school provides a decent curriculum to prepare the children for kindergarten, which is why I'm rating 2 instead of 1. But otherwise, the classroom environment is not accommodative for all children. The B2 staff are sometimes negligent about bullying that's happening in class, and aren't fully transparent in communicating any such incident to parents. There were also instances where they failed to provide a positive, encouraging feedback to children in the event of any minor accident, which deeply impacts a child's psyche. It feels like some staff are biased against certain kids, not providing them the attention or recognition they deserve, which could perhaps have a racial angle..? The staff need to be impartial and need to equally care for all children. Bullying should be discouraged, even if the bully is the teacher's pet. The staff need to listen to parent's concerns with empathy and take corrective actions, rather than show attitude and be smug and defensive. Would not recommend this place. I encourage KJA to take corrective action and become a better school that's enjoyable for ALL kids.

  My daughter has been attending Kids Journey Academy for the past two years. We have been SO pleased with her time there! My daughter is very sensitive and I knew drop offs would be hard. She started at 2 years old. The teachers helped this transition with encouragement and ideas to help ease the dropoff process. They let us tour the school before starting and invited us to attend for a few hours with all the kids to help my daughter with the transition. We also have nothing but great things to say about the teachers! They loved and cared for my daughter like one of their own. They’ve helped her grow into such an amazing tiny human who is almost ready for TK! It takes a village :) The teachers are always looking for new activities to do with the kids to help them learn and explore. And im Talking they have TONS of activities and learning Projects setup that my daughter enjoys. I LOVE the app with picture/video updates daily to see what they’re up to. She has learned all of her ABC’s/sounds, writes her name, and sight words already (amongst other things)! I’m very impressed and it’s bittersweet to know we will be moving on to TK next year but could not do that before sharing our amazing experience. Thank you all so much there at KJA!
