What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

Crom ManongApr 5, 2026⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our son attended the Early Preschool program at La Palma Christian Center from age 2 until he started kindergarten, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to his school journey. From the very beginning, Ms. Zsalene (the preschool director) set the tone with her warm, welcoming, and confident presence. She has a gift for making both children and parents feel instantly at ease, and from day one we felt our son was in the best hands. The teachers here are truly extraordinary. Ms. Maria, his very first teacher, lovingly guided him through those early years, made the classroom feel like home. Ms. Bobbie, his second teacher, filled his days with creativity and structure; we still hang many of the art and craft projects from her class on our mantel each season. Ms. Perez, his TK teacher, gave him the perfect transition into kindergarten. Her warmth, listening ear, and thoughtful feedback prepared him both academically and socially for kindergarten. And behind the scenes, Pastor Karen has built something lasting — a program that provides families with love, care, and a strong foundation. We will always feel at home at La Palma. The learning environment is just as wonderful as the people. In the early days, we watched Max’s natural patience, kindness, and ability to share flourish in play with his peers. As he grew, daily worksheets introduced him to letters, numbers, and early writing, while endless art and craft projects became keepsakes of his growth. Each age group has its own classroom, but shared playtime with other ages inspired him to reach new milestones, always in a positive way. He came home with respectful manners, kind language, and joyful friendships that reflected the environment here. And then there are the memories! So many special events that made his childhood magical: visits from firefighters and police officers, a reptile show, jumper days, scooter days, Trunk-or-Treat, the BEST Easter egg hunt, parent dances, birthday celebrations, preschool graduation, and of course, Water Day every summer Friday. Every season and holiday was celebrated in a way that made childhood feel joyful and meaningful. We are eternally grateful for the love, care, and community our son experienced at La Palma Christian Center Preschool. This program has been a blessing to our family, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, joyful, and enriching start for their child.
Yazmin GarciaAug 20, 2025I came to this church hoping for a warm and welcoming environment, but unfortunately, the staff made it hard to feel at home. While the service itself was fine and the message had value, the attitude of some of the staff was surprisingly rude and dismissive. There was a level of sass and condescension that really caught me off guard, definitely not what I expected from a place that preaches kindness and humility. I understand everyone has off days, but this seemed more like the norm than the exception. A little more grace and respect would go a long way. I won’t be returning, but I hope they reflect on how they treat their visitors in the future. Terrible ugly rude staff. The staff alerts seem like they got sas.

Michele “Shelley” GuinnJan 30, 2022My son loves The summer camp. He had so much fun today he actually cried when I picked him up early because he wanted to stay. I’m glad I found a place he wants to go to :)

Questions parents ask about LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
Is LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL a licensed child care provider in California?
- Yes. LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL holds California licence 300600560, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on November 13, 1981. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.
What kind of child care licence does LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL hold?
- California licenses LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL care for?
- LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL is licensed for up to 59 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.
How often has California inspected LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL?
- California records 2 inspection visits to LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, the most recent on April 25, 2025 and the earliest on record August 7, 2023. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.
Has California visited LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL in response to a complaint?
- California records 1 complaint-driven visit to LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.
Who holds the licence for LA PALMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL?
- The licence is held by LA PALMA ASSEMBLY OF GOD. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Orange County.
