Licensing visits on record
California records 0 routine inspection visits and no visits prompted by a complaint to LE PETIT ELEPHANT NURSERY AND PRESCHOOL.
What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

I sent my daughter there before my second baby was born. While my little one was with Miss Katya and Miss Daisy, she really fit in and after the adjustment time was happy to go and see them. However, after a few months, theachers changed and she was left with one teacher in charge. My little one had a hard time clicking with this teacher. While their website states that they do not "cry it out", I PERSONALLY SAW as this teacher left my kid cry it out at drop off. Mt kid was at the play groud all alone, drooling saliva and trying to get it with her little hands while her teacher was far away and back turned to my kid. Another teacher saw her and approched my kid and walked it off with her, all she needed a bit of T&C. When this particular teacher saw me watching, she tried to be like "oh she's good and walking with this teacher". I comfronted her about leaving her to cry it out and said my daughter told her she did not need her....she was not even 2! And if space is needed, I understand, but not across the playground and back towards her. When I talked about this with Adrean, they kept insisting all her emotional bursts were due to her new sibling. And we kept on. However, my daughter started having nightmares about LPE to the point where she was crying in her sleep and we had to wake her and tell her she was at home, not school. That was the last drop for us as parents. Between that and that we'd often pick her up with soiled diaperts to the point that the poop has dried up in her skin and other little things, we decided to call it quits after like 6 months with them. It works for some parents but not for us, even less so with the stafd cuts and changes they had to make with teachers.
Rosa maria Ortega cardinApr 13, 2026We switched to Le Petit after a not-so-great experience at another daycare (random school shutdowns, constant mix-ups with bottles and clothes, zero onboarding, and a general sense of disorganization). Our experience at Le Petit has been the complete OPPOSITE--- WE LOVE IT HERE and we couldn’t be happier. Miss Milli is incredibly thoughtful and detail-oriented. From day one, we received a clear and thorough onboarding packet outlining everything we’d need and what to expect. You can tell how much she cares about the school, and that care extends to her wonderful staff. Everything at Le Petit feels intentional...classrooms are clean and spacious, separated by age group so that activities and toys are always age-appropriate. We also really appreciate the no-shoes policy, especially for little ones who are still exploring the world by putting literally everything in their mouths. The kids also spend a large amount of time outside, and their outdoor area is the biggest of the Napa daycares! The teachers are fantastic. Love love love them. Super attentive, organized, and genuinely caring. They’ll chat with you at pickup about how the day went, share sweet stories, and even remember who your child’s favorite buddy is. We feel so lucky to have found Le Petit. Highly highly highly recommend for any families looking for a quality daycare in Napa.
JennyMay 15, 2025I can't say enough good things about Le Petit Elephant! My first daughter (8 months) is there M-F and it has been a fabulous experience so far. She couldn't be happier at drop off and it is so clear to me that she is thriving in the program. I was anxious about her starting and everything about having her there has surpassed our expectations. I'd classify myself as a fairly needy first time mom and the level of knowledge of her teachers and superb communication has put me completely at ease.
callan DeBruynMar 22, 2023My two children have been attending LPE for 4 & 2 years respectively. My eldest will be transitioning to kindergarten at the beginning of the new school year and thanks to the help from LPE we know he will be able to navigate his new school, both academically and socially. Our youngest has been with LPE since the start of her pre-schooling, she has always felt welcomed and loves attending. As a parent I always have had the upmost confidence sending my children, and have always appreciated the open dialogue and ideas the school shares with me
Owen McadamsDec 29, 2022Having my kid at LPE has been an incredible experience! My son loves going there. The teachers are very sweet and patient. I truly like Ms. Cristal. She cares about the kids as if they were hers. Ms. Milli and the rest of the team at LPE are very good at communicating and helping me with my child's needs. I also like the learning methods and tools they have at school. My son has learned so much since I enrolled him at LPE! I feel like I am surrounded by a strong team that truly cares about my son development and education! I I am so bless to have my son at LPE!
