What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

We did the forest camp at Foster Park for my 5 year old and it was the first time he napped all summer LOL. I wish there were more weeks in August available as would love to do it again but we were traveling most of July. My vote is for forest camp for the school breaks. :)
Paula Henderson KressJul 22, 2026My daughter participated in 2 separate weeks of their summer camp, one hosted at the Ventura botanical gardens and one hosted at harbor cove beach/channel island national park. She had the BEST time. She even asked just the other day when she could go back to “beach camp” or “botanical garden camp”, and I had to break it to her that it probably won’t be until summer is here again. The rice, the quality of education/-activity/exploration they did was so amazing. Cannot wait for both of my girls to get to go next summer! The owner, Melissa, is the sweetest human, and so is all the staff we interacted with. I LOVE that their approach to education is science and research based as well! They just opened their preschool, and I’m hoping to enroll my youngest in their program next year!
Kristina SaleemOct 20, 2025Summer Camp Review: We had the opportunity to enroll our son in two weeks of their summer camp. Our son had an amazing time! One of the weeks he was able to go kayaking and take a trip to Anacapa Island. He absolutely loved the full day camp and activities. The teachers were kind and provided amazing experiences for the children. Highly recommend the summer program and I would definitely check out their other programs as they are constantly building their offerings. Such a gem to the community!
