What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

I would like to thank the teachers and the director for helping my daughter feel comfortable and welcomed being that this was her first time at a center at the age of 4. It was a difficult transition for her in the beginning but sure enough with the help of the teachers and director everyone made her feel welcomed and she enjoyed attending school everyday, she began slowly to open up and not be so shy and learned so much! I highly recommend little people’s preschool to all of my friends and families. This center has been a huge blessing to me and my family!! 🙏🏼😊
JESSICA TRABANINONov 7, 2025I just want to thank you to Little People's preschool for all these years of caring for my daughter. I'm grateful for all the lessons my child received from the daycare. It was the best place I could have found for the care and education of my daughter. Thanks to all the teachers and to Elisabeth for being there for my baby.
Osmara AlvaradoAug 29, 2025I had two children that went to Little People's Preschool and Daycare and I could not have made a better choice for them! The education and play time that my children experienced here was second to none. I really enjoyed hearing from my children's teachers about my child's progress and growth. The teachers are very well educated and the director is superb and very well educated also! I loved the curriculum and activities to backup the curriculum, the activities were customize to the children and their learning styles that's what made this place special. Outside play time was just that letting kids be kids and allowing them to build healthy friendships and bond with one another. This is also the only preschool and daycare that I know of that has a state certified massage therapist and health educator that helps the teachers, teacher assistants and teacher's aides and especially the director with alleviating stress within the body and the workplace which makes for an healthier environment. There are so many, many other things that I can type in but all I can say is this is a great environment and has been in Union City for over 30 years and is dedicated to a child's education and overall well-being.
enc #1May 4, 2018My daughter is attending this school and she is very happy in school everyday. This school offers good quality in caring and teaching with very affordable tuition. I am especially thankful for my daughter's teacher Carmina Harris, -- I believe her influence contributed to my daughter having a well balanced development in language, confidence, self-esteem, responsibility and even a sense of humor...

Is LITTLE PEOPLES PRESCHOOL & DAY CARE a licensed child care provider in California?
- Yes. LITTLE PEOPLES PRESCHOOL & DAY CARE holds California licence 010214282, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on February 21, 1992. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.
What kind of child care licence does LITTLE PEOPLES PRESCHOOL & DAY CARE hold?
- California licenses LITTLE PEOPLES PRESCHOOL & DAY CARE as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can LITTLE PEOPLES PRESCHOOL & DAY CARE care for?
- LITTLE PEOPLES PRESCHOOL & DAY CARE is licensed for up to 63 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.
How often has California inspected LITTLE PEOPLES PRESCHOOL & DAY CARE?
- California records 5 inspection visits to LITTLE PEOPLES PRESCHOOL & DAY CARE, the most recent on March 25, 2026 and the earliest on record February 17, 2022. Has California visited LITTLE PEOPLES PRESCHOOL & DAY CARE in response to a complaint?
- California records 7 complaint-driven visits to LITTLE PEOPLES PRESCHOOL & DAY CARE. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.
Who holds the licence for LITTLE PEOPLES PRESCHOOL & DAY CARE?
- The licence is held by APOSTOLIC ASSEMBLY OF THE FAITH IN C. JESUS, INC.. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Alameda County.
