Licensing visits on record

California records 0 routine inspection visits and no visits prompted by a complaint to LITTLE ROBLES IN THE SUNSET.

What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • Little Robles is a special place. My son attended this school for almost a year (until we moved out of the city) and we couldn’t recommend it more! The teachers and administrators are so warm and welcoming and the space is beautiful! We loved that our kiddo was able to explore Golden Gate Park daily under supervised care. My son learned to express his emotions, speak some Spanish, and socialize with kids his age. While we moved out of the city, my son still talks about all of his friends and teachers often. They really made an impact on him and he misses it so much! Thank you Kristina and staff for creating such a wonderful space for all kids to thrive and grow.

  • Our daughter started attending Little Robles in the Sunset full-time when she was 2.5 years old at the beginning of 2024 and we stayed with them until we recently moved away. We were very sad to leave the school because of how much they supported her and our family. They helped us with her transition to starting school (which took 3 weeks for there to finally be no tears) and supported us with different challenges that are typical for 2-3 years (big emotions, meal time battles, hitting/biting, nap issues, toileting). I loved that their space is bright, open, and contemporary. They are a short walk to GGP. My daughter thrived within this school program and under their care. I loved that they incorporated a lot of outdoor play and neighborhood adventures. I noticed her behavior and mood was so much better because of it. She LOVED her teachers and school friends. The classroom size was small enough that she created really meaningful and genuine bonds with several of her classmates and teachers. We have since been away from the school for 3 months and she still talks about her former teachers how much she misses them. My daughter really enjoyed the daily activities. Their curriculum and activities were very engaging for her. She did a lot of hands-on learning about science, art, reading, counting, food, as well as doing things within the neighborhood and community (like going to post office, visiting library, walking by the produce/fish market, taking the train to a new park, etc). I really liked that they exposed the kids to their community. If we hadn't moved, we would definitely still be at this school until Kinder.

  • My daughter has attended Little Robles since she was 1.5 years old and has had the best experience. The teachers are so loving, you know they’re in the best care. They take them to Golden Gate Park everyday which is such a bonus! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a Spanish bilingual free play day care.

  • We are so lucky to find Little Robles and Kristina. Our toddler thrives here and loves his teachers and friends. There’s an incredible parent community as well where we see each other outside of the school and take kids out together. We can’t wait for second one to reach the age where he can join Little Robles as well.

  • Little Robles is great. They have taken care of my insanely energy-prone son for about 2.5 years now, and I've been grateful and happy with his care throughout this time. Kristina, who runs Little Robles, has always been warm and friendly and kind... and most importantly, communicative. She allows us to bother her with more texts than are reasonable and has never turned us away when we wanted to chat about something on our minds. Moreover, her staff has always been friendly and loving and my son is fond of all his teachers. Their sunset location is brand new, and I'm really happy to see how bright and airy and spacious it is. They also take the kids to the very nearby park often, including Mother's Meadow playground. Hard to go wrong.
