What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

My daughter has been going here for a couple years now. I never have a worry at all while she is there. The teachers are absolutely amazing and loving. My daughter loves to go each and everyday. I would not have her attend anywhere else. I would highly recommend this school.
Leann RyanSep 19, 2025My son loves coming here and playing with the kids and teachers! Mrs Jacklyn is amazing and my son enjoys this little homey feel program. I am pregnant with my second and I am so thankful that I have a place to send my boys and know they are safe and being treated great!
Cassie WilsonSep 12, 2025As a first-time mom, choosing a daycare was one of the hardest and most emotional decisions I’ve ever had to make. Unfortunately, our journey started at an in-home care provider that was not the right fit for our family. It was a really tough and even traumatic experience that left me feeling anxious and discouraged. I share this because I know many parents can relate- trusting someone else with your child is such a huge step, and when it doesn’t go well, it can shake you. When we transitioned to Little Sprouts, everything changed for the better. The difference has been truly night and day. From the very beginning, the teachers welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. They treat each child like their own and create such a nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to grow. What stands out most to me is how intentional their approach is. They incorporate Montessori-inspired principles- fostering independence, curiosity, and hands-on learning- while still covering everything with so much love and gentleness. There’s also a homestead atmosphere that feels grounded, natural, and connected, which I absolutely love. It’s not just about childcare; it’s about creating a community where children thrive. My child has blossomed here. I see growth not only academically but emotionally and socially as well. Drop-offs are no longer filled with tears (from either of us!) because I know my child is happy and cared for. The peace of mind that comes with knowing your little one is in such capable and loving hands is priceless. I am so grateful we found Little Sprouts. It feels like family, and I cannot recommend them enough to any parent searching for a daycare where children are truly cherished and supported every step of the way. <3
Kari & Jon FooteSep 10, 2025My son has been going to Little Sprouts since he was an infant and recently joined their Preschool program when he turned two. Ms. Jacklyn the director has been nothing but amazing to work with and loves each and every child like her own. My sons teacher Ms. Elisa has been phenomenal at teaching my son from a young age and cares for him just like she would her own children. I feel very lucky to have found a preschool that invests in each child, knowing that they are outside playing, completing arts and crafts projects and learning hands on skills. I could not recommend Little Sprouts enough to any parent.
Jennifer WeberSep 9, 2025We have been fortunate to attend little sprouts for the past year. My 4 (now 5) year old absolutely loved “school” and was so well prepared for kinder this year. My little one loves Jacklyn and Elisa. The staff is so friendly and kind, she is always cared for and loved. I feel so lucky to have my children here where they are loved and learning. I know choosing preschools can be challenging, but I cannot recommend Little Sprouts enough.
Megan WarnerSep 9, 2025We have been here for years with our 2 kids (changing to Little Sprouts is a change in ownership but not the teachers or day-to-day stuff) and Ms Jacklyn and the other teachers are all so wonderful. They know the kids so well and love them like their own, the kids get to run around outside a ton, and they are doing all kinds of art and learning projects every day. We are very happy here and recommend to anyone!

Questions parents ask about LITTLE SPROUTS LEARNING CENTER
Is LITTLE SPROUTS LEARNING CENTER a licensed child care provider in California?
- Yes. LITTLE SPROUTS LEARNING CENTER holds California licence 093627375, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on February 3, 2026. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.
What kind of child care licence does LITTLE SPROUTS LEARNING CENTER hold?
- California licenses LITTLE SPROUTS LEARNING CENTER as a single licensed child care center, a category that covers infant, preschool and school-age care under a single licence. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can LITTLE SPROUTS LEARNING CENTER care for?
- LITTLE SPROUTS LEARNING CENTER is licensed for up to 38 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.
Has California visited LITTLE SPROUTS LEARNING CENTER in response to a complaint?
- California records no complaint-driven visits to LITTLE SPROUTS LEARNING CENTER. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.
Who holds the licence for LITTLE SPROUTS LEARNING CENTER?
- The licence is held by LITTLE SPROUTS LEARNING CENTER LLC. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in El Dorado County.
