Loomis Community Preschool is an absolute gem, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience here! It is a warm, nurturing, professionally run program that takes early childhood education seriously and keeps it fun for the kids! A licensed preschool with trained staff, oversight, and accountability gave us real peace of mind for the children's safety from day one! The program is so thoughtfully organized that participating feels effortless and rewarding. You always know exactly what is expected, and the staff make every parent feel capable, valued, and welcomed. There's a great sense of community! Teacher Arwen was a wonderful influence and a consummate professional! The curriculum is clearly structured and delivered with so much warmth and joy that the kids are completely engaged and thriving. You can feel the care and planning that goes into each day! The directors, Amy and Kellie, keep everything running like a well-oiled machine while being warm and friendly! Communication is clear and consistent and schedules are reliable. The children have grown so much socially, emotionally, and academically! I credit not just the wonderful teachers, but the entire community that this preschool fosters. This parent participation preschool creates a tight-knit, supportive family atmosphere that is truly special. If you are looking for a preschool that is fully licensed, organized, professional, and genuinely invested in your child's growth and your family's involvement, look no further. Loomis Community Preschool is simply the best!

He has grown mentally and emotionally in ways I could have only hoped for. And I have found such a wonderfully supportive environment for myself as a person and a parent. I'm excited to continue my relationship with Loomis Community Preschool as my second child is enrolled for the 2025-2026 school year. I highly recommend this preschool!

The community of parents and teachers have made it a wonderful place to learn. The Harvest Festival, Holiday Store, and Spring Celebration just add to the amazing place this is. I highly recommend Loomis Community Preschool to all children ages 2-5.
Elisa BryantJun 13, 2018Excellent play based preschool. It's a co-op, so you have to volunteer 1 day/week in the classroom. So you get to see how your child learns at school. Also one of the cheapest options around for preschool. If you can commit the volunteer time, I highly recommend checking this preschool out.
Nicky WangMar 18, 2016I knew the first day we visited LCP that it was the place for us. My son loves his school-- his teacher, the activities, everything (well, except washing his hands--ha!). In the year and a half he's attended, he has learned so much and been exposed to so many concepts and experiences that I would never have imagined, let alone implemented on my own. Not only that but his social skills have improved dramatically (kind of a big deal since he's an only child). I have also learned many strategies to employ when dealing with the conflicts that are bound to crop up with preschoolers; working in the classroom has definitely made me a better parent. I love watching my son develop trusting relationships with the other adults who work in his class, and begin developing friendships. I could go on and on, but if you want to be an active part of a safe, caring, supportive community, and watch your child grow socially and academically, LCP is a great place to be.
