We absolutely love Marco Polo and were very sad when my oldest had to graduate from MP. Fortunately his little brother joined the fam and will graduate from MP next year! All the teachers and staff are so kind and patient, providing a great environment that makes not only the kids but also the parents feel safe.

Chelsea SmithJul 14, 2026Marco Polo has been a dream school for our daughter. She’s been in the mandarin immersion program for 3 years and we do not speak mandarin at home. She has learned so much not only Mandarin language, but her English is above many of her peers. The teachers and staff do such a wonderful job creating an environment where the children can be who they want to be. My daughter loves the art, science, and cooking classes. The Reggio Emilia framework has been a wonderful fit for our family. My son will be going there next year.

ADApr 1, 2026My 5 y/o daughter's essentially graduating from the Mandarin immersion program at MP, where she's gone been from pre-school through TK. My 2.5 y/o son is now following suit, based on the great experience we've had. While I still can't tell you the difference between Reggio and Montessori, I can confidently say that my kids really love their teachers and classes. As we can see from the multiple daily updates in Brightwheel, they do a lot of arts & crafts, yoga, singing, dancing, moving around/exercising, and reading in Mandarin. Of course, we see/hear it at home but it's nice to see the photos and videos throughout the day. Pros (massively positive): - My kids learn a surprising amount of interpersonal dynamics, cultural events & meanings, and doing stuff independently - They're building a strong Mandarin foundation that my wife & I hope to maintain as long as possible - Long hours are flexible for our work hours, especially compared to nearby Mandarin immersion programs - Very clean & tidy Con: - It's pricey & only getting pricier
