California records 0 routine inspection visits and no visits prompted by a complaint to MI SECOND CASA.

What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • I wish I could give this daycare more than 5 stars. My daughter Kya is 8 months old now went during the months of January- March. Michael, the director made the process from start to finish, seamless. From the open tour date, to signing up, to getting Kya started, meeting the teachers, and getting updates throughout the day was just perfect, especially for new parents like myself. We had sooooo many questions when we signed up and Michael was so patient in answering them clearly, he would even make himself available on the weekend to get back to us about anything outstanding which was so beyond what I expected. The daycare itself is newly built and well thought out. From the rooms, the playrooms, the climbing room for preschoolers, the outdoor space (gorgeous!!), to the little things like meal planning, the photo updates, etc. Mi second Casa, the director Michael, the infant lead teacher, Nohemy, and teacher Jessica raised the bar in terms of a great daycare. We left this month as we moved to another state and have been using this daycare as a template of what we would like for future care. What stood out the most to me was that they treated us like family and treated Kya like their own. Kya was sooo happy everytime we picked her up. Though drop offs were always so hard for me personally, they always ensured me it was a part of their growth and even had tips and tricks for me to try at home with sleeping, eating, activities. I’m so happy we found this place when we lived close by.

  • Took a tour of the facility with my family and it's amazing. Tons of different activities for the kids. Miguel and his family are fantastic!

Questions parents ask about MI SECOND CASA

Is MI SECOND CASA a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. MI SECOND CASA holds California licence 414005228, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on October 30, 2025. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does MI SECOND CASA hold?

California licenses MI SECOND CASA as a single licensed child care center, a category that covers infant, preschool and school-age care under a single licence. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can MI SECOND CASA care for?

MI SECOND CASA is licensed for up to 40 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

Has California visited MI SECOND CASA in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to MI SECOND CASA. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for MI SECOND CASA?

The licence is held by MI SECOND CASA SPANISH IMMERSION PRESCHOOLS INC.. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in San Mateo County.
