Licensing visits on record

California records 0 routine inspection visits and no visits prompted by a complaint to MONTESSORI CHILDREN'S HOUSE.

What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • My daughter currently attends MCH. We have been very pleased with the instruction and care she receives at this school. I visited several preschools in the area before choosing MCH, and by far this school was the perfect match for us. Ms. Anne, the director, is warm and caring. She does an amazing job of getting to know each family and their child(ren). She knows all of the children by name and spends time in each classroom watching their progress. She is always available to give you feedback on how your child is doing and is very receptive in talking with you regarding any parenting concern you might have. This open communication is reassuring to me as a parent. My daughter is surrounded by caring teachers and staff. She is really benefiting from her education and has also gained many great social skills. Her teacher, Ms. Misha was been wonderful and a pleasure to work with. My daughter adores her, she has strengthened my daughter’s individual needs both academically and socially. MCH offers a great learning environment. I appreciate MCH for their support in building a great foundation for my daughter’s future education. I strongly recommend MCH.

  • Montessori Children's house is a blessing to our family. Our Kids attended from Pre-K to 2nd grade and the foundation that was given at Montessori was amazing. Our children are 5 years apart and it is an amazing feat, for Miss Anne and her team to continue maintaining the dedication and above excellence experience we had with our first child that also extended over the years to our second child. When our children moved on to 3rd grade in another elementary school, we were always asked by the teachers and other parents: "your kids are great. What school did they come from?". We responded, with no hesitation that they attended Montessori Children's house in Riverside. The only problem we have with the school is that they need a better PA system for their Christmas show. One very important note:.As very concerned and straight to the point parents, we do not appreciate gloss...That is where schools say a lot of good stuff about your kids and all seems good. Miss Anne and her team continuously highlighted the good things about our kids as well as things that needed improvement. They talked with us about how best we can work together as a team towards improving our kids. When we attend PTA and open house meetings, we were always amazed with the hard-work the teachers put in to grade the kids work and analyse it to give us parents information that would help and encourage our children. Great Job Miss Anne and your team...Keep it up. If any parent has any question, please feel free to let us know and we will be glad to answer them. Thank you Team Montessori Children's House and Keep up the excellent job.

  • We love this school and staff , my son wakes up excited everyday to go to school and is doing so well with his education with their close specialized attentive teaching. My sister went to this school and Ms. Ann was even one of her teachers. I am even planning on sending my other son when he is old enough. When I leave him, I know he is in safe caring hands.

  • My both kids going to this school for last 3 years. I think that was the best decision I made for my children's learning and social growth. Teachers are very professional regarding teaching kids in healthy competitive environment. Teachers are very friendly and boost up kids confidence by regular class activities and art work. I have changed 3 different schools before choosing this one, and after that my school search ended and I am very satisfied. All staff including Director Ms. Ann is very nice and easy to work with. They know almost every single kid in school thoroughly and work with all kids according to their needs. I get regular updates about my kids from teachers and also from Ms. Ann. They take good care of kids and also listen to parents concerns seriously and pay attention to their concerns. Being a Child Psychiatrist, I pay special attention to kids learning and social behavior. So far I had no any negative experience about this school and I highly recommend this school to any parent.

  • The worst school I have ever worked with. My daughter has a speech delay and receives speech therapy. Because of her delay she struggles with communication. I called the director because a behavior specialist wanted to go in with me and observe my daughters behavior while in daycare setting. As soon as I brought this topic up to the director she requested to have an immediate meeting with me. I left work early and was told by the director Miss. Anne that I had 2 weeks to look for a new school for my daughter. I asked if the behavior specialist would be able to come in anyways and she denied my request. I was not given any previous notifications just the fact that I brought up an observation they kick my daughter out of this site. They would even tell me her behavior was improving but kick her out. I would bring up scratches I would find on her face, chest and neck after picking her up and they never had an answer all they would tell me was that she never cried!! So where are the teachers at when something happens? They were never able to give me clear answers as to what happened or what caused her to hit (smack with open hand) or what happened when she got hit. If your child has any sort of delay don't waste your time here. And it seems very common for them to kick students out of this site they are constantly getting new students.

What kind of child care licence does MONTESSORI CHILDREN'S HOUSE hold?

The licence is held by MAHINDA & CHINTHA JAYARATNA, INC.. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Riverside County.
