What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • Our son is attending MSN for last 2.5 yrs and this year he will be completing kindergarten in MSN. My wife and I are very happy and satisfied with the learning and care our son has got during this time. All the teachers Ms. Katy, Ms. Sangeetha, Ms. Jenny, Ms. Francis and Ms. Radha give personal attention to the kids. The team is very ably lead by Ms. Katy. School focus is on academics as well as daily life skills. As a 4 yr. old when my son had joined the school, teachers really helped him to settle down and soon he made lot of friends in the school and was always excited about new lessons. Last year our son was eligible to join public school for kindergarten, but since he was learning so much and enjoying in MSN that we decided to continue kindergarten in MSN. We surely recommend MSN.

  • My wife and I have been sending our child MSN for a few years now. It has been a fantastic educational experience for our little one. From potty training to now beginning to read phonetically I have been throughly impressed with Ms. Katy and the teaching staff! My wife and I truly feel that the teachers at the school care for our child and have created an environment where she can be an independent thinker and she enjoys learning. She has learned how to hold writing a utensil and ,as you can see from the photo, draw well. Also, the schools diversity of students is evenly mixed and the teaching staff reflex the diverse as well. All in All, this has been a great school to send our child and we'll be sending our soon the be born second child to the school in a few years.

Is MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF NEWARK a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF NEWARK holds California licence 013420932, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on June 5, 2012. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF NEWARK hold?

California licenses MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF NEWARK as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF NEWARK care for?

MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF NEWARK is licensed for up to 40 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF NEWARK?

California records 3 inspection visits to MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF NEWARK, the most recent on November 7, 2024 and the earliest on record June 8, 2022. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF NEWARK in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF NEWARK. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF NEWARK?

The licence is held by NEWARK MONTESSORI SCHOOL. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Alameda County.
