What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

As parents, this was one of the hardest and most emotional milestones for our family. This is our daughter’s very first experience being away from us and surrounded by people outside of family, so naturally, we were nervous and protective. We spent a lot of time researching schools, visiting different campuses, and speaking with staff throughout the area because we wanted to make sure she would be in a place where she felt safe, loved, and truly cared for. The moment we stepped into MVLA Montessori Children's Center, something felt different. There was an immediate warmth and genuine sense of compassion from everyone we met. The staff not only care deeply for the children, but they also work closely with parents as partners to help each child thrive and succeed. That level of support and dedication meant the world to us. The biggest proof of all is our daughter herself. Every single morning, she wakes up excited and genuinely happy to go to school. Seeing her run into class with confidence, joy, and a huge smile on her face gives us so much peace and reassurance as parents. Her growth, happiness, and enthusiasm speak louder than words ever could. There honestly isn’t enough space in this review to fully express how grateful we are for this school and how much they go above and beyond for their students and families. We feel incredibly blessed to have found MVLA Montessori Children's Center, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.
Mimi SisonMay 14, 2026A mother’s dream come true. The most incredible preschool for our little one. It’s amazing how much she learns and the quality of experiences she comes home with every day. The teachers are phenomenal. This family-run school is an absolute gem. 10/10
Amna MettmannMar 11, 2025Wonderful school - great teachers and teaching environment. My 3 yo absolutely loves it. The classes are on the bigger side in terms of number of students but you honestly wouldn't know because children are continuously engaged in different activities in smaller groups. The play area is very nice and kids get a good amount of outdoor time.
Virginie SerreMar 31, 2024Didn't work for us, unfortunately. My daughter had minor problems with adjusting to a new place, she wouldn't want to leave the playground and would run away. The school preferred to kick her out instead of trying to find an approach. They gave her one month (with breaks for holidays and illnesses, so about 10 half-days of school in total) to adjust, and then decided to terminate the contract. So, if your kid's behavior is not perfect, if he/she is in stress and needs attention, don't go there. I'm giving 2 stars instead of one just because they returned part of the money
Mariia VorontsovaFeb 2, 2024After extensive research, we decided to choose MVLA Montessori. It was our best decision! Our daughter loves it! This is our first preschool, and we are very grateful to be a part of this amazing school!
Natasha SedoshkinaOct 11, 2023My kid was here for almost two years. We were so lucky to have great teacher here to be my kid’s first teacher. She’s still talking about teachers, staff and her friends she made in MVLA though she’s graduated. Big thanks to MVLA Montessori, you made my kid to become a happy and confident child and ready for her kinder year.
