What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • Our daughter attended My Little Learning Tree. I have to say Corinna and her staff were amazing. It seems strange to say that our daughter received an excellent education at a preschool. But she did, in more areas than just academics. I strongly feel, as a parent, that My Little Learning Tree truly shaped our daughter into who is now as a teenager- a truly good person, with good social skills, which I think she learned at MLLT. One could not ask for people more nurturing, kind and qualified to run a preschool than Corinna, Popo and the staff. She also got a head start from MLLT in "academics". I am not sure what Corinna and staff did, but she went into kindergarten adding a ridiculous amount of digits, and reading far advanced for her age. She is now a high school straight-A student, going to the National Debate competition. We will forever be grateful to Corinna and her staff for an influence on our daughter which will serve her a lifetime. As can be seen from the other reviews, truly, there are no words for the gratitude that we have for MLLT. This review is long overdue, but driving by the school today, my heart was filled with gratitude.

  • We’ve had such a positive experience with My Little Learning Tree and truly can’t recommend it enough. Both of our children have attended, and from the very beginning, we felt confident that they were in a nurturing, safe, and thoughtfully structured environment. The teachers are incredibly warm, attentive, and deeply invested in the kids' development — not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. They really take the time to get to know each child and support their unique needs and personalities. It's clear that the staff love what they do, and that energy is reflected in the way the children thrive there. The curriculum strikes a great balance between play-based learning and structured activities, encouraging curiosity, independence, and kindness. Our kids came home happy, engaged, and often excited to share what they learned or created that day. The school is a great alternative to traditional daycare — especially for families looking for something more developmental and community-oriented. If you're considering preschools in the area, My Little Learning Tree is absolutely worth a visit.

  • Can't recommend MLLT enough to anyone seeking early education. Corinna, the director and founder, has roots in SF and has built an amazing establishment of community and care. The teachers are top notch, especially teacher Chiori, who my son adores. He'll be graduating this year, which I'm already sad about, but luckily, my daughter will start next year. Send your child here - you won't regret it!

  • Both of my sons attend(ed) this preschool, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The teachers are incredibly caring and create such a loving environment where kids feel safe and valued. They also do a fantastic job preparing children for kindergarten, ensuring they’re confident and ready for the next step in their education. One of the biggest perks is the school’s year-round schedule, which provides peace of mind for working parents. They offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks, so you know your child is well-fed throughout the day. The late pick-up option until 6 PM is a lifesaver, especially for busy families. My boys absolutely loved their time at My Little Learning Tree, and I’m so grateful for the wonderful foundation the school provided them. If you’re looking for a nurturing and well-rounded preschool experience, this is the place to be!

  • I am so happy we have had the opportunity to send our two children to MLLT! The teachers are nurturing, creative, and truly passionate about early childhood education. The focus on social emotional learning and independence has fostered such wonderful growth for both of my kids. The community is also welcoming and wonderful. It’s truly a neighborhood gem that I couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Questions parents ask about MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE

Is MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE holds California licence 384002056, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on November 23, 2010. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE hold?

California licenses MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE care for?

MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE is licensed for up to 30 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE?

California records 3 inspection visits to MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE, the most recent on July 24, 2025 and the earliest on record June 7, 2023. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for MY LITTLE LEARNING TREE?

The licence is held by LEUNG, CORINNA. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in San Francisco County.
