  Phoenix Global Green School has been an incredible experience for our family. From the moment we toured, it felt different from any other school. The teachers are nurturing, kind, and truly invested in the children. I love that my daughter spends time gardening every day and that creativity and learning are encouraged through play. The environment feels thoughtful, calm, and very child-centered. I'm also amazed at how much French and Spanish she has already picked up. And I have to mention the food. We are not vegan, but the food at this school is honestly amazing. It's fresh, thoughtful, and far better than what we expected from a school program. We feel very lucky to be part of this community. It's a truly special school.

  Our daughter started summer camp at Phoenix a a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with our choice. The teachers are so attentive and caring. She is having fun, learning so much, using her imagination, playing outdoors and also eating incredibly healthy food harvested from the garden. She started eating broccoli for the first time which is an achievement on its own because I have tried many times before. It is a wonderful place and would highly recommend! Thank you!!

  Our child entered Phoenix Global Green School at age 2 and we cannot recommend this school more! The environment is immediately warm, inviting, creative, and joyful. The teachers clearly enjoy what they do and appreciate the unique character of each child. I love that we get regular updates about our child's development and daily events at pickup. The children spend a large part of the day outside learning, playing, doing art projects, and tending to their garden. Their music class is basically a daily all out dance party. Since starting, our kido has only been sick once in 5 months! Maybe its a coincidence but my hunch is that its due to amount of time they spend outside.....Thats a gift in itself! There is a focus on the minimizing waste and reusing materials and the teachers are incredibly innovative as they create art projects, cardboard puppets, and costumes by giving a second life to used materials. Since starting our child's curiosity for life has exploded and she is now singing in 3 languages (despite the fact that we only speak English at home). Nothing could make me happier that seeing our kido run into school everyday with a big smile and knowing she is thriving in a safe and warm environment. We feel so grateful to be apart of PGGS!

  Phoenix has been a blessing for our family.. We started our child here somewhat spontaneously after having a very very difficult experience at a different preschool in Highland Park, and can thankfully say that, although my ability to trust was almost broken, Phoenix has fully restored my faith in pre-K!!! From the very first time we met the staff at this school, they have been so warm, honest, communicative, have made our child and us feel so welcomed and at home. They have been particularly patient with our child while she works her way through potty training. They are engaging our child with music every day; our child comes home singing and talking about music they learned and danced to at Phoenix school, so happy! We also really appreciate how they involve the children in food prep, sometimes the kids help prepare their own snacks from scratch. Our child has been coming home asking if we can eat quinoa, and lentils, beets, and other things I never dreamed a toddler would want to eat. One last shoutout to the way that the school minimizes plastics and the children learn to reuse lots of things, I think those are very important lessons our child is learning.. Phoenix has been a very warm, sweet, safe, healthy, fun and creative place for our child, I strongly recommend!

  We're here for summer camp with our 2.5 year old and couldn't be happier. We had a negative experience in a prior HP preschool so enrolled in the summer camp program and wish we had made the swap sooo much sooner. It’s such a warm and fun environment - the teachers are so lovely, they provide a healthy lunch and snack every day, and the kids spend basically all day outside. Our little one comes home singing in French and Spanish, they do so many art activities and we love the focus on green/sustainable materials. They are so creative! I feel like the tour doesn’t give you the full view into what the school offers - it’s really exceeded our expectations.

  Phoenix Global Green is a fantastic place where kids learn about nature and cultures of the world (they teach French, Mandarin, and Spanish, which kids absorb like sponges at an early age). Their school lunch is arguably the best in LA (see photos). Nutritious, delicious, and healthy. They also put their heart and soul in plays throughout the year (it is unbelievable how much they can do in these productions with so little. Very creative).
