Our son attended The Play Atelier for 2 years, from 18 months old. We are so grateful we found them. I have nothing but positive things to say about the owner, the team, the facilities, and the freshly prepared meals. The team truly cares about each individual child’s likes and needs. This nursery school is a gem in El Sereno.

The teachers are all constantly training and working to do bigger and better things with the kids. If you want a great place for your little one to learn about themselves, and the world - this is the place.

The commutation was clear and consistent from everyone. We always felt heard if we had questions. If changes were made we always felt they were made with the children’s development being a top priority. We wanted a play based curriculum and saw our son develop motor, commutation and creative skills. We feel more confident in him taking the next step in his education because of his time at Play Atelier. We highly recommend.

From the very first visit, it was clear that this was more than just a school--it's a community that truly prioritizes the happiness and well-being of every child. The director, Aremi, is proactive, dedicated, and responsive. She consistently kept us informed about everything happening at the school and made regular improvements to enhance the experience for both the kids and parents. For example, during a heat wave last year, Aremi upgraded the HVAC system, ensuring the children's safety and comfort. Aremi also continuously added new features to the outdoor play area including new equipment and structures to make it more engaging and safe for the kids. You can tell she genuinely cares for every single child, and that passion sets the tone for the entire environment. The teachers are equally incredible--patient, nurturing, and endlessly kind. My daughter took to them immediately. They made her feel safe, valued, and loved, even on days when she was a little clingy at drop-off. Over time, we saw her blossom socially and emotionally, and it wasn't long before she started running to the door every morning, excited to go to school. The activities and events are thoughtfully planned, fostering creativity, exploration, and a love for learning in ways that feel like pure fun for the kids. We always looked forward to seeing her artwork at the end of every week. I can't recommend Play Atelier enough. If you're looking for an affordable and engaging place where your child will be cared for, supported, and truly celebrated, this is it!
Cici BMar 28, 2025We had our daughter at Play Atelier for a couple of years and she absolutely thrived there. It is such a warm and nurturing environment, but also paired with plenty of structure. Learning was at the heart of everything they did and my daughter was so excited every single day to see what activity they were going to do. She formed sweet bonds with each of her teachers, and Ms Deybi in particular really made her feel special and took such good care of her. I would undoubtedly recommend this nursery school to anyone who is looking to attend!

He just graduated from this school and will be attending Kindergarten soon, and I feel confident he's been given a great head start. The teachers and staff are so attentive and caring. The curriculum is engaging for the children. They are communicative and yes protective of the children which every PARENT wants for their child. If you are looking for a great preschool or daycare, this is it.
