What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

My son has been coming to Precious Time since he was 2 years old, and he’ll be turning 4 this December. When he first started, he was very shy and not very social, but the teachers here took such attentive care to make sure he adjusted well. Over time, I’ve seen such a huge difference he’s become much more sociable, has made so many friends, and even enjoys trying different foods thanks to the encouragement and environment they provide. I love that the teachers are not only attentive but also very intentional. They send progress reports and pictures, which really helps me stay connected to his growth throughout the day. The curriculum is wonderful, the kids learn through play, music, being social, outdoor time, and all with a strong Christian focus. It feels very natural and holistic, almost like a biological style of teaching that supports children where they are. The hours are also perfect (8:00–5:30), and tuition is very reasonable for the quality of care and education provided. They also help with potty training and provide morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack, which is such a blessing for busy families. My son will be transitioning to TK next year, and while I’m excited for his next chapter, I’m honestly sad for him to leave this community. That’s how much we love it here. I already can’t wait for my second child to start in another year and a half. Precious Time has been such a gift for our family, and I’m so thankful for the teachers and the heart they put into caring for and teaching our children. Highly recommend!
Clayre Michelle Cruz GaviolaSep 26, 2025Several friends and friends of friends have recommended this preschool, and regardless of their religious background, everyone has had great things to say. The school accepts children from ages 2 to 5. As a Christian family, I really appreciate that they pray before meals and incorporate Bible stories and worship music every Wednesday. My children have grown very fond of their teachers and always look forward to going to school. The daily schedule is also very well-structured: classes run from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, offering great flexibility for working parents. Weather permitting, the kids get to play outside on the playground twice a day—which they absolutely love. Another practical advantage is the holiday schedule—there aren’t many breaks, and when there is a holiday, it’s typically just a single day off, which a point you can consider if you don’t like other schools that has many no school holidays.
Sparkling NSep 11, 2025Since Google does not have any option to respond to Mr. Joe comment. I have decided to reply and grade Precious Time Christian Preschool a 5 star rating. We are one of the greatest school in this area with full capacity with 40 plus children on the waiting list. Other parents reviews including Ms. Lau (review under Mr. Joe, review) mother which is also a child of Mr. Joe child who is still in our preschool. The child is thriving and has become very well prepared for the next step. As a professional in this field how can you pass judgement on this school when you are not allowed in the classroom areas for reasons you only know. We have an open door policy to the public and potential clients to view and ask questions in regards to our philosophy and practice without hesitation.
Wanda SawickaMay 15, 2018I brought my grandddaugher here in August of 2016. In the year she was here she learned how to write her name, learn how to count and write to 100, learned how to write a sentence and so much more. When she came here, she knew very little, they encouraged here to try and not give. She was also a lucky eater but she was encouraged to at least try and she learned to like different food than before, but I understood you can't make a child eat, so at snack they gave her a little more and I always had a snack for her. I never felt she was learning things wrong and we had to redo anything. I had all 3 of my granddaughters at a different learning center and out of all 3, my youngest learned the most because of Precious Time. I watched her become more out going, make friends and be happy. The staff was always encouraging, would answer any questions or concerns I had. I felt they balanced learning and playtime very well. The price is very reasonable. I recommend this place very highly. I wish my other two granddaughters could have come here and wish the youngest had come sooner.
Wanda RiceOct 12, 2017I do not make this review lightly. I worked 10 years in the field of early education in the bay area before retiring from the field. I speak from a point of professional experience in the field. And honestly I do not recommend this place. My daughter attended this preschool from 2016-2018. I've had time to reflect on the curriculum and development of my daughter as a person, and overall experience of my daughter attending precious time. In the end, I I regret having sent her to this school. I would recommend if you are deciding on where to send your child to preschool consider either. The little extra drive will be well worth it. 1) Our Lutheran Savior school located: 858 Washington Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539 or 2) Gan Sameach Pre-School located: 42000 Paseo Padre Parkway, Fremont, CA 94539

Questions parents ask about PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL
Is PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL a licensed child care provider in California?
- Yes. PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL holds California licence 013415769, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on September 12, 2001. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.
What kind of child care licence does PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL hold?
- California licenses PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL care for?
- PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL is licensed for up to 55 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.
How often has California inspected PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL?
- California records 5 inspection visits to PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL, the most recent on January 7, 2026 and the earliest on record September 17, 2021. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.
Has California visited PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL in response to a complaint?
- California records no complaint-driven visits to PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.
Who holds the licence for PRECIOUS TIME CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL?
- The licence is held by ST. PAUL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Alameda County.
