Licensing visits on record

California records 0 routine inspection visits and no visits prompted by a complaint to PRESBYTERIAN DAY SCHOOL.

What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • My son went to PDS for 2 years and we had a terrific experience. The teachers were kind, attentive and caring. He was very well prepared, academically and socially, for TK and beyond. The director was so helpful in allowing us to have a very flexible schedule that fit our family's needs. We still think back very fondly on our time at PDS.

  • We were so grateful and relieved to find PDS for our kids. We had tried other daycare options and they were so not the right fit for us - everything from cost to flexibility of hours to their approach with the kids. I will forever be grateful for the teacher who when I burst into tears that my kid had had an incident during the day smiled and said, “It is ok. He had a bad day, that doesn’t make him a bad kid”. We heartily and strongly recommend PDS.

  • PDS School in Napa was truly a blessing for our family. During some of the hardest moments in our lives, they supported us with so much kindness and care. My son always struggled with sleep and naps, but within his first week at PDS he adapted beautifully to the routine, which made a huge difference both at school and at home. His transition into Kindergarten was also incredibly smooth. The teachers are loving, attentive, patient, and truly care about each child’s individual needs. We are deeply grateful for everything they have done for our family, special shout-out to Jennifer 💛 Thank you for your incredible care, kindness, and attention. You made such a positive difference in our experience at PDS School in Napa, and we are truly grateful for you.

  • Presbyterian Day School (PDS) was a life saver for our family. I have 3 kids who went through. Your child doesn't have to be potty trained when you start at 2 years old- amazing! They are flexible with scheduling and the staff is super loving and knowledgable about child development. They get to know the whole family and make you feel like you are part of a community. Once they allowed my daughter to stay all day unexpectedly when I had to rush her brother to the ER. The kids have the opportunity to "perform" in front of the church a few times a year and those are some memories I will cherish forever. It isn't just a school; it is a family where i made life long friends.

  • I’ve used different types of childcare: in home, private, and daycare centers. PDS has been the best so far. The Director Jennifer is truly exceptional, she is attentive to each family and I believe, really cares for her staff and families they serve. The staff also reflect this attitude are genuine care and compassion for the children and families. My child loves going every day and is excited to see their friends and teachers. I will always recommend this facility and staff.

  • We love it here! The teachers are amazing and bring so much love and care to the classroom. My child loves the music classes that they offer every couple of weeks. All around great atmosphere to have your kids in. They also have a lot of fun 😊

Questions parents ask about PRESBYTERIAN DAY SCHOOL

Is PRESBYTERIAN DAY SCHOOL a licensed child care provider in California?

What kind of child care licence does PRESBYTERIAN DAY SCHOOL hold?

California licenses PRESBYTERIAN DAY SCHOOL as a single licensed child care center, a category that covers infant, preschool and school-age care under a single licence. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can PRESBYTERIAN DAY SCHOOL care for?

PRESBYTERIAN DAY SCHOOL is licensed for up to 41 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

Has California visited PRESBYTERIAN DAY SCHOOL in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to PRESBYTERIAN DAY SCHOOL. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for PRESBYTERIAN DAY SCHOOL?

The licence is held by FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF NAPA. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Napa County.
