What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • PYA is truly a hidden gem. I didn’t even know it existed until a friend whose child attends the school recommended it to me, and I’m so grateful she did. My child absolutely loved it. The teachers are kind, caring, and nurturing, creating a warm and supportive environment for the students. My child not only grew academically but also spiritually during their time there. In addition to a strong traditional curriculum, the school places a meaningful emphasis on Islamic education and Quran learning. Students learn the names of Allah along with their meanings and significance, Arabic letters, and surahs. The school also celebrates and observes Islamic holidays, which is a wonderful added benefit for Muslim families. I highly recommend Primes Year Academy to any parent looking for a school that nurtures both educational excellence and Islamic values.

  • Amazing, amazing, amazing! I can’t recommend this school enough. The whole staff including the principal and teachers are welcoming, loving, and dedicated to your child’s wellbeing and education. My daughter just graduated and my son will be attending in the fall!

  • We moved to Corona so our child could attend this school and it has been the most rewarding experience for them and our family. We are so grateful for the nurturing environment that sparked their creativity, curiosity and love of learning. We wanted a play based preschool that would teach a love of Islam and got that and more! Ms. Rola, Ms. Vivian and Ms. Sara are incredible in addition to all of the support teachers.

  • The Principle was v weired. 1 year ago I went she told me da kid name will be put on waiting list for next year admissions. When I went after 1 year before Enrollment starting in May, about my kid name on the waiting list. They said sure but when asked the Principle they said we will look if there is spot on the waiting list. But now I saw they are giving ads everywhere about registration opening up while they have kept my kid at waiting list for more dan an year. Maybe its discrimination although they never asked any question from my Kid.

  • Prime Years Academy has been nothing short of extraordinary for our son and our family. From the first day, we’ve felt completely at ease knowing he is in such capable, loving, and nurturing hands. The teachers don’t just educate…they inspire, guide, and genuinely care. Our son’s confidence, curiosity, and joy have blossomed beautifully under their exceptional care. Every day, he eagerly shares stories filled with happiness and excitement about school. Choosing Prime Years Academy was one of the best decisions we’ve made as parents. Truly a special place filled with warmth and dedication. Highly recommended!

  • My daughter loves PYA! She loves all the hands on activities. She loves being there so much that I sometimes tell her if she isn’t on her best behavior, I won’t send her to school. I love that they motivate kids to memorize the Quran, that they have themed lessons every month, Arabic is beautifully weaved into the curriculum, lots of stories read, loads of crafts… her folder is packed every week of so many cute and creative activities. PYA has been a blessing! Also, I would love to point out that the admin to the teachers are all spectacular! Ms. Rola (admin) and Ms. Sara (main teacher) have especially been amazing at communicating and creating lots of opportunities for moms to get together and kids to enjoy field trips. It’s clear this preschool is built upon experience, professionalism, and love… it’s been an amazing year! I look forward to sending my other kids and telling everyone I know about how great this school is!!! I am so grateful they created a home away from home for my daughter. All the moms say the same, we are just so profoundly happy with PYA!

Questions parents ask about PRIME YEARS ACADEMY

Is PRIME YEARS ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. PRIME YEARS ACADEMY holds California licence 334841782, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on November 5, 2012. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does PRIME YEARS ACADEMY hold?

California licenses PRIME YEARS ACADEMY as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can PRIME YEARS ACADEMY care for?

PRIME YEARS ACADEMY is licensed for up to 30 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected PRIME YEARS ACADEMY?

California records 3 inspection visits to PRIME YEARS ACADEMY, the most recent on August 14, 2025 and the earliest on record September 19, 2023. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited PRIME YEARS ACADEMY in response to a complaint?

California records no complaint-driven visits to PRIME YEARS ACADEMY. That means no concern prompted a visit on the public record, which is not the same as a clean inspection history: the state does not publish what its visits found.

Who holds the licence for PRIME YEARS ACADEMY?

The licence is held by ISLAMIC SOCIETY OF CORONA-NORCO. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Riverside County.
