What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • We made the difficult decision to withdraw our daughter from Primrose after five months. She was just 21 months old at the time. During her first month, we were incredibly hopeful. She had two wonderful teachers, felt comfortable in her classroom, and genuinely enjoyed going to school. Unfortunately, that stability didn’t last. One of her teachers left after the first month, and over the next several months we experienced constant turnover — three different teachers who rotated in and out, sometimes lasting only a day or a week. The only consistent teacher she had from the beginning has since also left the school due to unfortunate circumstances. In our final month, she had two more new teachers. I personally witnessed behavior that deeply concerned me. These teachers struggled to create a warm, safe environment for toddlers under two years old. Comfort items were taken away. They appeared frustrated if children didn’t immediately engage with them. My daughter began crying most days when she was in their care. The final week was especially upsetting. I watched my daughter lie on the ground, visibly overwhelmed and defeated, while children and teachers stood around her. Another child kicked her in the face. The teacher did not intervene and walked away, leaving her on the floor. As a parent, that was heartbreaking to witness. When I raised these concerns with management, I was told the issue stemmed from me dropping my daughter off later than other children. I fail to see how arrival time justifies a lack of supervision or a child being kicked without intervention. We had high hopes for this school and are deeply disappointed by our experience. Since moving her to a new daycare, she has thrived. However, what we witnessed during our time here continues to stay with us.

  • We’ve had a wonderful experience with the Primrose Toddler 3 class. The teachers—Ms. Priscilla, Ms. Hayat, and Ms. Sridevi—are absolutely amazing. They are caring, patient, and truly attentive to each child’s needs. It’s clear they genuinely love what they do. What really stands out is how welcoming the entire staff is. Everyone knows my son and calls him by his name, which makes us feel valued and gives me so much peace of mind as a parent. My son is happy, comfortable, and excited to go to school every day, which says everything. We’re very grateful to the Toddler 3 team and highly recommend Primrose to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their child.

  • I am very happy with my daughter’s experience in Early Preschool 2. Ms. Laura and Ms. Loos are very kind, patient, and caring. My daughter feels safe and loved in their classroom, and that means everything to me as a parent. I can see how much she has grown socially and emotionally, and she is always excited to come to school. The teachers communicate well, show so much care for the children, and create a positive learning environment. Thank you, Ms. Laura and Ms. Loos, for all the love, support, and hard work you give to the children every day. We truly appreciate you.

  • We have been so happy with Primrose since our little one joined about a year ago! The staff all know her name and are incredibly sweet with her. She’s learning so fast - currently 20 months and already counting to 6 and singing the ABC song, among many others. She’s always happy at drop off and runs into the lap of her teachers. They send us pictures in the ProCare app throughout the day and it’s clear she is thriving. The teachers in Toddler Class #2 are the best! The only negative to consider is the price - it is more expensive than the other programs in the area. However, if you have the means, I do think it’s worth it. Our older son went to a different preschool before Primrose opened, and I can tell the difference. Highly recommend their program!

  • Thank you Hilda and Tina in Infant 2 room! These two women are always smiling, patient and professional. Our baby girl instantly felt comfortable in their arms and they raised her while my husband and I had to work. This daycare was a blessing to us, going back to work and touring daycares to find somewhere we felt comfortable leaving our baby girl was so difficult but we instantly felt safe at primrose. We were so lucky to have found them a few months after opening and found it to be super clean, new, modern and safe. There is a Procare app that is used daily for communication and the teachers take the time to upload pictures and updates about diaper/eating with our little one. It really helped me ease back into work postpartum and missing my baby, I felt like I was still there with her knowing she’s smiling and happy in the pictures. Thank you Hilda and Tina, you helped me raise my baby since she was 4 months to now a year. Going back to work was so hard on me but I always knew she was in the best hands leaving them with you guys. She is given so much love and attention, and has hit so many milestones. Jon and I are so grateful to you guys for everything! The front staff is accommodating with our family as well always welcoming us and working with our schedules. We have been so lucky to be apart of the primrose family!
