What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

Our child has been attending this preschool for 2 years. For those two years the director and teachers were amazing. They cared for our child like they were their own. They provided them with engaging lessons, provided them with a biblical education. The price is great for working parents and the hours as well. Many events for parents and family to enjoy. My child was always happy to come to this school. Some days they didn’t want to leave because of all the good fun they had. Overall, very accommodating to needs. Can’t beat the price and the peace of mind that your child will be cared for and loved
Hazel951May 31, 2025This preschool and kindergarten has been fantastic to my son, wife and I. We credit every bit of my son’s academic success to the staff at this school. Miss Lucy, Miss Rea, and the rest of the staff are kind, caring, and wonderful with the kids in terms of their education and well being. Credit to Miss Lucy as a fantastic kindergarten teacher and school director. This school’s accessibility and hours of operation for before and after school childcare were also an answer to prayer for two working parents w/ crazy schedules. We had every confidence about our son’s care and education here, and the staff went out of their way to make this happen. Thank you!!!
Zachary CoxJul 18, 2023My 2 year daughter is a lot bigger than other kids so if in a situation where there is an issue with a toy can display somewhat aggressive behavior. The reason for this negative review is not because this preschool said they can’t keep my daughter. This review is because Ms. Lucio failed to state her decision to keep or not keep my daughter for over a month causing us significant stress with our jobs. Even then, she ran to the assistant to communicate her decision to us. Her timidity caused us valuable time we could have used to find alternative care. This was also not a case of her waiting for more information. Nothing changed from the first day she was there. The class teacher had already made that decision but said Ms. Lucio was the final authority. I called her and the assistant principal and pleaded with them on multiple occasions to let us know if they’d be able to keep my child or not as my wife had a difficult schedule. You may not be equipped to handle every child. You, however have a responsibility to treat every parent how you will want to be treated. This is sad coming from a Christian preschool. I don’t know if it is a personal issue with Ms. Lucio but someone needs to do a better job making decisions..

Is PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL a licensed child care provider in California?
- Yes. PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL holds California licence 334830314, currently listed as "CLOSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on August 20, 2009. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.
What kind of child care licence does PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL hold?
- California licenses PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL care for?
- PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL is licensed for up to 82 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.
How often has California inspected PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL?
- California records 2 inspection visits to PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL, the most recent on July 11, 2023 and the earliest on record September 9, 2021. Has California visited PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL in response to a complaint?
- California records 2 complaint-driven visits to PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.
Who holds the licence for PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL?
- The licence is held by PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Riverside County.
