What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • I have had all 3 of my sons attend Ready Set Grow for 1-2 years each. RSG checks all my boxes: - The teachers are caring and nurturing while modeling boundaries and patience. - Lots of Play! Inside, outside, crafts, toys, everything. This age is for learning how to play with others and be a good friend! They give so much space for play and time to explore their interests or self direct. - a curriculum to help our kids be ready for pre-k and kindergarten. -the property has a spacious outdoor playground and is secure. -There are 3 separate classrooms for dedicated support based on their age and development. -2 of my son's potty trained here. They were consistent, supportive and communicative. A team effort! -events and opportunities for parent involvement. -lots of pictures and parent communication through the procare app The tuition for full-time (630am-6pm) is around 200/wk per child. I've been connected to Ready Set Grow for 5 years (with a covid gap 2020-23) and I really don't know how we would have survived and thrived without them. My last kid is about to transition out of RSG and into pre-k. A million thanks to Ready set grow for all you've done for me and my family!

  • Ready Set Grow has been A M A Z I N G!!!!! I went hough a bad experience with a previous childcare facility and RSG was there for my daughter and my family. They are so supportive and caring! My daughter was able to be included and not condemned for being herself at RSG! The teachers are incredibly talented, aware, and loving towards their children! I can honestly say that Ready Set Grow is where you want to send your child for inclusive and loving care. I can not give RSG enough credit for helping my daughter and our family through such a difficult time to a place of love and care.

  • My daughter LOVES this school! She's been attending for a year now. The teachers and staff are AMAZING; always so friendly. Great environment for my daughter to be in while I'm at work. They also potty train, which was a HUGE help! I HIGHLY recommend this school!

  • This school is so amazing I LOVED it while my kids were in attendance. All the teachers love what they do and take the time to talk with parents they always have excellent programs when it comes to holidays. They teach the kids prayer. My 3 year old who has ADHD came home everyday proud and excited he is happy yo recite Spanish words. My 2 and 3 year old love attending here I had to move but, hopefully one day I can get them back in the school. They are literally the only school I trust with my kids. I would like to thank all staff and faculty you guys are amazing, My children and I are thankful for you guys

  • Both our kids have gone here and they have had the best experience getting to know their classmates and practicing being at school and in a cooperative social setting. This place is great with caring and kind staff, involved parents, and a beautiful location right next to Heritage Park in Whittier.

Questions parents ask about READY SET GROW

Is READY SET GROW a licensed child care provider in California?

Yes. READY SET GROW holds California licence 198010406, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on June 28, 2004. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.

What kind of child care licence does READY SET GROW hold?

California licenses READY SET GROW as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can READY SET GROW care for?

READY SET GROW is licensed for up to 54 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected READY SET GROW?

California records 1 inspection visit to READY SET GROW, the most recent on May 12, 2026. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.

Has California visited READY SET GROW in response to a complaint?

California records 13 complaint-driven visits to READY SET GROW. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.

Who holds the licence for READY SET GROW?

The licence is held by ELIZABETH ESTRADA. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Los Angeles County.
