I would like to sincerely thank the preschool team for their great cooperation and support. I truly appreciate their efforts in helping my daughter learn English, as it is not her first language. Special thanks to her teacher Jen for her patience and dedication, and to all the parents for their positive collaboration in creating a supportive environment. This has helped my daughter integrate, make friends, and enjoy learning at the same time. It has been a wonderful and rewarding experience for us❤️

Where else in Redding can your little one as well as your self engage in a community of caring families and children can learn the ropes of socializing with the security of an attachment figure such as a parent or sometimes grandparent nearby? As far as learning goes, Teacher Jen has structured the school so children can immerse themselves in a wide variety of fun learning activities, whether that be imaginative play in the dress up room, to a creative art project, or playing bug bingo at another learning station. Teacher Jen not only brings in her years of experience, but also seems to keeps abreast of the latest research and is very responsive and supportive to the parents as well. You can truly tell that her heart is with the children. During the course of my son’s journey with Redding Coop I have ran into many former parent alumni, some of which still contribute to the school on a regular basis even though their children are now adults who have children of their own. And some of those grandchildren attend Redding Coop! Many former parental alumni I have ran into speak of the special place Redding Coop has in their heart, a place where long term friends were made, connections and learning for both child and parents. Redding Coop was formed by caring parents (who are now grandparents!) over 60 years ago and has become a unique tradition of families coming together connecting and working together for the care of their children.
A HAug 11, 2025We moved from the Bay area to Redding and were warmly welcomed into The Redding Co-op family. They say it takes a village and you won't find a better one in Redding! All the parents are invested in the growth and development of the children here and Teacher Jen is the heart and soul of our family. Initially drawn to the play based approach and extensive playground with bike path, sand box, swings, etc. So blessed to have found such a wonderful community to introduce our daughter to her life long adventures in learning!
Kerry WebbFeb 6, 2025A wonderful experience for families and children. We were fortunate enough to have our son’s grandmas volunteer and be a part of their school. We have met great individuals throughout our years here and wouldn’t trade it for anything. Teacher Jenn is fantastic with the kids and families, we wish we could extend the coop until high school graduation.
Megan PradoFeb 3, 2025I can’t recommend this school enough! We absolutely LOVE Redding Coop! We first decided to try the school out because I was nervous about sending my daughter off to a full-day, 5 days a week kindergarten when she didn’t even like being away from my husband or me at all. It has been such a great way to ease her in to a school setting (RCP is just 3 days a week from 9-12) while still being able to be with her one of those days when I serve my part at the school. I honestly have as much fun as she does on my “work” days. The school has a beautiful backyard play area that is well shaded by nature and is full of fun activities for the kids. Honestly the shining star of the school though is definitely Teacher Jen! She truly is a gem! The kids adore her and so we (the parents)! I’m constantly telling my husband how happy I am that we signed her up and he agrees. We can’t wait for our baby to get to go there one day too!
