What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • I have had both my kids go to safari kid for after school for past three years. My son still goes there. The staff are friendly and supportive. Kids finish their homework, also their knowledge is enriched with other learning packages done here. My daughter was here for two years in middle school. Son is still in elementary school. He did math kangaroo, math noetic through safari kid. They have been very useful for him to increase his overall math skill. He also picked up chess from here and loves to play with friends. I get feedback whenever attention is required regarding homework and behavior. I appreciate the attention. Also all these years, I loved the winter christmas programs and annual programs they put together with the kids taking part in play, talent shows, playing instruments, singing, dancing etc.,

  • Safari Kid De Anza is a very nice pre-school. It provides a good blend of academics n co-curriculars. Kids are taken care well by the staff, who ensures that each child participates in all the activities organised. They have a good curriculum to prepare children for Kindergarten. Other activities spread throughout the year give kids a good exposure for physical growth n team spirit. The Director, Ms Monica, keep herself involved in various tasks done n provide a good feedback for child's growth. Various events organised by her to celebrate different occasions help kids to learn n participate with full enthusiasm.

  • This review is for the aftercare session.Teachers ensure kids do their homework and ensure the kids eat their snack. Kids are taught to prepare for Math Kangaroo and Noetic tests. Monica, the business owner, is open to ideas from parents and in the past year, a whole slew of extra curricular activities such as public speaking, art lessons, Bollywood dance etc in addition to chess classes are provided as options for the after school kids. The center has a secure door entrance and can only be opened from inside the premises.

  • Safari Kid DeAnz, Cupertino location is barely okay, perhaps I should use the word, "Worst Center" for the young ones who are looking for preschool and after school care. School had just about basic run down activities for kids to ensure they are at same level with their competitors in the neighborhood. Teachers are just simple okay and don't stick that long due to unknown reason. U almost see couple of New face young in-experienced teachers faces every other month. Center Director, Monica is terrible to deal with. She definitely lacks strong and interpersonal skills in dealing with effective communication skill set with parents and all kids. Am totally bewildered to see that many 5 stars! Mónica cordination amongst her own staff teacher is just horrible. There is no proper plan and strategy in place when any question being asked or rationalized. Monica is totally unprofessional in her work ethic and has a bad habit of pulling parents during the time of evening pick up and going through all the tiny details in her open cubicle leaving all the conversation Open to Public and absolute no respect to maintain the Privacy. This is a fundamental flaw in her own way of functional operation style. There is no separate dedicated closed door office to have private 1-on-1 discussion. When parents are tired after a long day of work, she would literally confront them to ensure she gets her message relayed across that De Anza Center is her location and they better be not smart in situation where there are some personal problem and ones which require face 2 face communication. Monica is definitely and completely lost when she talks, write email response. Bulk of the time there are lots of absolute typos in her email message with incomplete information about event details like Chess, Hindi, Robotic, Math test, Dance competition, Christmas party etc etc. She has very surface level shallow knowledge and does not take deep dive to resolve the problem containment and corrective action resolution. During one time late evening pick up after 6pm, I handed over couple of dollars (late charge) to her staff teacher but following week, Monica again in evening pick up, pulled me over to let me know that I owe her the late pickup fees. I knew this was coming and was prepared mentally organized to show her the Sign-in/Sign-Out log book to visually showed her my hand written comments that late fee was already paid on that single outlier day to on site staff teacher. She was melted but again she didn't offer any Apology and just moved on. In the last incident, even when I pulled out my child this December 2018 with close to 30 days Withdrawal email notice, I asked her to not grab me after the long day of work at Center but rather send me email to copy my spouse. We went back n forth of email but Everytime she wrote a clarification or explantation, she could never articulate as to why $120 was taken off from $200 deposit. As of my last email few days ago, I didn't give up and asked her to itemized the calculation and logic she calculated for refund breakdown but she hasn't responded till to date as I already shared earlier that she does not have progressional etiquette skillsets and appears she literally took the incident completely personal. I have had also helped her couple of times in the center during my kid pick up to resolve her MacBook WiFi connectivity issue with laser printer and overhead projector coupled with MacBook not displaying the correct screen resolution on the center wall. For each of those 2 tasks, I shelled out an hour each of my personal valuable time and during those time while I was busy with debugging the issues, she was busy marketing the New prospective parent. What a Shame, Man!!! I Strongly recommend All parents to look for another preschool /after school care and make a U-turn in other direction without thinking twice about this disorganized, messy place with confusing, unprofessional owner!

  • We recently moved here from other state. My 3 years old daughter was very much attached to her previous school teachers. I was worried in the beginning how is she going to do in her new school. But for my surprise within few days she got connected to her new school. The teachers Ms Shikha, Ms Anita, Ms Ratina and the owner Ms Monica everyone is so friendly, caring and dedicated. They give one on one attention and with their well balanced curriculum kids will be more than ready for the kindergarten, I assure you. Don't think twice if you are looking for a part time preschool just get enrolled your kids in safari kid s de anza. Thank you safari kid s de anza for your continuous love, care and support.

  • Good mix of academics and fun / playtime. Teachers will ensure kids finish their homework. A variety of additional optional programs like Math / Chess. Kids have enough space for playtime. Secure access to the facility - so no strangers can get on premises. Lastly - for me - it's quick access from Hwy-85; conveniently located. I recommend it!
