Our very active son has attended from age 2-4. Our experience has been exemplary. Going from a pretty physical (hitting, biting) 2 year old to a polite, articulate, book-loving, space-requesting 4 year old can only be attributed to the kind, patient attentions of the teachers here. We have had nothing but positive interactions with the administration even though our child required several behavior meetings. We highly recommend this pre-school for students of all dispositions. Also, anecdotally, the kitchen always smells so good in the mornings.
Adrienne TJun 25, 2026Both our kids went here! The older one was 2 when we started and I was pregnant with the younger one who attended from tiny infant to pre-school graduation. The staff here is lovely and they stay for years/decades! The Office Manager Rhysie knows everyone and greets us every morning. The pre-school teacher grows a full garden every year. The playground has just been upgraded. This place is a gem and a pillar in the community.
Karen GaussSep 11, 2025My daughter went to San Jose Day Nursery for almost three years before entering TK. She had a good time. The teachers and staff are caring and friendly. My partner and I like the fact that it is play-based and not overly focused on academics. We also like its diverse environment where everyone is welcome. They offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks. That saved us a lot of hassle. Most importantly, the kitchen is neat and clean. If you are looking for a daycare/preschool in the area, this place is worth a visit.
