  The Toddler Care Center lead by Nora’s guidance has been paramount for the development and growth of my older son. He attended TCC upon their reopening at the height of the pandemic from 2021-2022 when he aged out at 3. (They were the most covid conscious out of any day care out there being entirely outdoors and required masking, shown in the photos below). We knew from the beginning that our second child would be attending TCC as well. We are excited for him to learn and grow outdoors with the wonderful staff and community they create. They are so caring, warm, responsive, respectful, and supportive. The teachers and staff help parents become a team with the care givers. I cannot recommend it enough.

  If I ever moved away from Santa Cruz, the biggest thing I would miss is not the ocean, redwood trees, or ice cream.. it would be SCTCC. They are an incredibly warm, gifted, and community oriented staff and my family is so grateful to be a part of what they're doing. For any parent who devours Janet Lansbury stuff, this place is what it looks like when it is embodied in a school. It's amazing :)

  My two older daughters attended the Toddler Center and my youngest is currently there. We absolutely love it! The staff is amazing and the care the children receive is unparalleled. I feel so lucky to be able to send my girls there and know that it has created a solid foundation for their growth and development. I have also learned so much about how to be a better parent from our time at the Toddler Center.

  Extraordinary early childhood education and care geared specifically to 1-3 year olds. Our two children learned through a wide range of experiential play and other activities like cooking and gardening about their own autonomy and competence as the smallest members of our community. The Toddler Center's teachers are dedicated and thoughtful professionals, constantly striving to provide outstanding care for their charges -- and they have my eternal respect and gratitude.
