  When our son first arrived at Serendipity, he was a very energetic young boy with a short attention span and could be quite a challenging student at times. Over the past two years, through both the Butterfly and Rabbit classes, we have watched him grow and flourish in ways we could never have imagined. The teachers have been absolutely incredible. Not once did they complain about our son or make us feel that he was "too much." Instead, they consistently used their experience, patience, skills, and expertise to understand him, support him, and help him develop into the confident, capable young boy he is today. Thanks to their guidance and dedication, he has made tremendous progress both emotionally and academically. The growth we have seen in his confidence, ability to focus, social skills, and love of learning has been remarkable. As he now prepares to graduate and move on to kindergarten, we are so grateful for the role Serendipity has played in his journey. Every teacher and staff member has shown genuine care and commitment, creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive at their own pace while being encouraged to reach their full potential. Thank you, Serendipity, for everything you have done for our son and our family. We will always look back on these years with gratitude and appreciation.

  Our family will always have a special place in our hearts for Serendipity. Even a year after leaving, my daughter still talks about her teachers, her friends, and all the things she learned there - which speaks volumes about the impact they had. The teachers are incredibly warm and caring, and it truly feels like more than just a preschool. The environment is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with creative monthly themes that make learning fun and engaging. They even have live animals, including a bunny and reptiles, which my daughter absolutely loved. She especially enjoyed the baking activities and still uses skills she learned there in her everyday life. We also really appreciated the communication with weekly progress reports keeping us informed and the monthly photo albums were such a joy to go through together, helping her re-live and talk about everything she experienced. The holiday pageant was another highlight! So well-organized and heartfelt, just like everything they do. We were blown away! Most importantly, they prepared our daughter so well for “big girl school” (TK), giving her confidence and a strong foundation. If you’re looking for a nurturing, creative, and enriching place for your child, I can’t recommend Serendipity enough. It’s more than a preschool. It’s a place where children feel seen, supported, loved and inspired.

  Serendipity is the highest quality preschool/Pre-K on the peninsula. The staff are professional yet extremely nurturing and responsive. They organize curriculum around monthly themes and my son has learned so much this way. One month the theme was birds and my son started identifying all the birds we’d see on hikes. Just so cool. We kept my son there a second year even though he was eligible for TK because there’s no way any TK experience could be better than Pre-K at Serendipity. The staff have extensive experience supporting 3-5 year olds and the curriculum is developmentally appropriate, engaging and more than prepares them for kindergarten. Highly recommend this school for both preschool and Pre-K.

  One of the more challenging parts of being a parent to a toddler is letting them go—being away from them for the first time. Preschool is a big deal, especially in our case, since our child is extremely reserved. Fortunately, in our community, we have Serendipity Preschool—the most perfect place for a child to begin their early education and experience structured childcare. There aren’t enough positive words to describe what it’s like to attend Serendipity. The time and attention they devote to creating an educational and engaging curriculum for the children is truly incredible. Every teacher stands out, bringing a heartwarming personality that makes the experience feel truly comfortable and welcoming. Their passion and love for the kids shine through in their attention to detail. They’re incredibly accommodating and consistently keep parents informed about the children’s daily experiences, so you always know what your child did that day. It’s clear the teachers take time to get to know each child as an individual, creating a personalized experience that helps them grow—both emotionally and educationally—throughout their time there. But what matters most, in the end, is the child’s perspective. My timid daughter never stops talking about how great each day is. She’s always excited to share the activities she did, the lessons she learned, and how each teacher made her feel like the most important person in the world.
