Michael LinJul 6, 2026We were so excited for the new campus to open closer to our home and signed up right away. It’s a great mandarin immersion daycare for families especially if they’re interested in the mandarin immersion program at Chapman and live in the Gardena area like we do. It’s a great head start because he’s learned a lot even having just been in school for 5 months with no prior knowledge of Mandarin. He can answer simple questions and hold very simple conversations with our relatives. He loves singing the songs and enjoys practicing the lessons in their app. He is the one teaching me words these days! Smaller class sizes which I love. Very clean school and a new gated and well kept playground space for the kids. They really try to make holidays and celebrations fun for the kids; we especially loved the school wide Lunar New Year Celebration where students from both campuses performed and celebrated the holiday! Teachers and admin are so supportive and kind to the students. You can tell they really care and want to help the kids grow and succeed as human beings. My child had a hard time adjusting to outside care at first, but I received daily updates on how he was doing and they really tried to work with him and meet him where he’s at. It really eased my anxiety knowing he’s in such good care. Shoutout to Sophie and Jojo laoshi for being so so understanding, encouraging, and optimistic about his progress and growth socially and emotionally!
