  I’ve been meaning to leave this review, but after seeing everything they put together for the kids this summer, I knew it was time! Their summer program has been incredible. My son has gotten to enjoy bounce house days, a petting zoo, a reptile show, water slides, snow cones, movies and popcorn, and so many other fun experiences. I kept joking that they were making preschool look so fun that I wanted to go with him! 😂 As a mom, it has been really special knowing he isn’t just being cared for during the day, but is getting to make such fun childhood memories along the way. And while they certainly know how to make learning fun, I’ve also been really pleased with the academic side of his experience. I can see the things he is learning and the progress he is making, and I appreciate that they are helping build a strong foundation and prepare him for the next stage of school while still allowing him to be a kid. But what really makes this preschool deserving of five stars goes far beyond the activities and academics. From the beginning, the staff and director have consistently been kind, flexible, accommodating, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful. There have been times when our family needed a little extra understanding, and I have always felt met with empathy rather than judgment. That kind of care means more to a parent than I can put into words. There is also a genuine family atmosphere here that I really appreciate. The director, Valerie, has been part of this school community for many years, and you can feel the stability, experience, and integrity that comes with that. It doesn’t feel like they are simply running a preschool; it feels like they truly care about the children and families entrusted to them. I’m very grateful for the way they have cared for my son and for the many ways they have worked with and supported us as a family. Finding a place where you feel comfortable leaving your child is incredibly important, and I’m thankful we found that here. And seriously, the kids may have a better summer social calendar than most adults. 😂❤️ Five stars from this very grateful mama!

  Storybook Preschool has been a lifesaver for our family. After two summers and TK I am so glad we found them. Great location if you work in DTSA or live in a near by neighborhood. Helped with potty training and the Pediatrician was impressed with his knowledge and I attribute all to Ms.Alma and Ms.Julia’s TK class. The Director Ms.Valerie is a class act and we are so grateful to all the staff.

  !! Highly recommended !! I have recommended storybook preschool in Santa Ana to family and friends. All of my kids have gone here and they love it. The staff is amazing and really care about the kids and have helped them learn many things. They always have great activities for the kids and parents. The director Valerie is very good with communicating with parents about their children. Now that I have a new addition to my family I know they will be attending Storybook preschool when they turn 2 ! Such a great place for kids to Grow and learn and make friends !!

  HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We have had our eldest daughter begining at age 3, enrolled in Storybook since we have moved back to Santa Ana. After wonderful 5 years of reliable care and education our immediate thought was to enroll our 2nd child as soon as she turned 2. The Director Valerie and awesome team's priority has and will always be the health and safety of the toddlers and children in their care. They've seen us through everything from potty training to a pandemic. Our daughters love the winter and summer programs they offer. A couple years ago, they changed their opening hours which was a huge help when it came to my work schedule. Now, close to a decade we're unexpectedly expecting our 3rd child. Again, my immediate thought when it comes to childcare is Storybook in Santa Ana. Terrible twos could not come soon enough.
