  Would rather leave my child HOME ALONE than send them to this school! The staff are a nightmare. Beyond them hitting children, they don’t even properly address the situation! Maybe a phone call back would be nice ? Maybe a sit down meeting to understand why your staff hit children? Maybe FIRE THE PERSON?!?! Instead, just have to send my child somewhere else. Smh.

  I couldn’t be happier with Sunshine House. The teachers and staff are exceptional, so warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in building strong relationships with each child. My son feels safe, known, and excited to go every day, which says everything. They’ve been incredibly supportive through key transitions like potty training, and I really appreciate how intentional they are about making sure he gets the rest he needs at naptime. At the same time, they’re constantly encouraging his growth, fostering imagination, creativity, and both gross and fine motor skills in such a thoughtful way. The enrichment activities like soccer and music class are fantastic, and the Parents’ Night Out events (pizza and movie nights!) are such a wonderful added bonus. We feel so grateful to have found this program and recommend it highly to anyone considering day care for their little one.

  Sunshine House has become our saving grace. Our son started at 13 months old and he is now 24 months old. We were there right when they transitioned to new owners. Our son has thrived so much since being there. We are leaving because we have are moving out of the area soon, and in looking for a new daycare, sunshine house has set the bar. We’re sad to leave, but grateful we’ve chosen Sunshine House during our time here. Our son has learned so much, sometimes he doesn’t want to leave daycare. The admin is responsive and very communicative. Our toddler often comes home with artwork. We get daily (most days) pictures and text from his teachers. The teachers are amazing! Our toddler always talks about his teachers and friends there, they are household names. We highly recommend Sunshine House!

  We love Sunshine House! The staff are amazing- kind and patient and they love their little charges. My son is 2 and has been there since he was 4m old and he loves going to “school” every day! They do all sorts of songs, games and activities while also allowing time for free play. The facility has been recently updated and it looks fantastic. I 100% recommend SH.

  We’ve had a wonderful experience at Sunshine House Benicia! My daughter started here when she was 7 months old and is now almost 2. It’s a small, close-knit community where all of the staff know my daughter, and she looks forward to seeing her teachers and friends every day. The facility is safe, clean, and full of engaging spaces for the kids to explore indoors and out. As a working parent, it gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s spending her days in a loving, nurturing environment. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a trustworthy daycare.
