What California does not publish here
The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

I rarely write reviews, but SKA is a school that is worthy enough to brag about! My daughter has been receiving the best care here. I decided to transfer her from a local preschool to Supreme Kids Academy a few months ago, and in just six months, I have noticed a significant difference in her learning, penmanship, and overall development. Before enrolling her here, I did a lot of research trying to find a great school for my little one. I can truly say she is receiving the best care and education in the Bay Area! Their staff and teachers are unmatched. As a mom who works in education, I can confidently say their curriculum and materials are advanced. There are a lot of local centers and schools that do not have the right resources, structure, or teachers to successfully run a great preschool. Every staff member is so sweet, caring, and attentive to my daughter. You can tell they have a prestigious hiring process because every single staff member carries the values of the school. Not only is my daughter receiving the best care and education here, but she is also receiving the highest level of safety. As a working mom, safety is extremely important to me. They have an app where they send updates throughout my daughter’s day. I am in constant communication with them and receive alerts throughout the day, which is such a relief as a parent. With everything going on in schools today, it is comforting knowing your child is safe and receiving the best care when they are not with you. Our children are the future, and investing in their care and education at a young age is so important. We love SKA! Thank you to the entire staff and administration for creating such a loving, safe, and enriching environment for our children. We are beyond grateful to be part of the SKA family and truly appreciate the care, dedication, and hard work that goes into making this school so special.
C. Symone GurganiousMay 8, 2026My child has been at Supreme Kids for about 2.5 years. To put it into context, I'm VERY funny and protective about my kids, so for me to stay here COMFORTABLY for this period of time says a lot about the professionalism, care, and curriculum this school provides. When it was time to send my baby to preschool I was very skeptical. I wasn't able to send her to the preschool my oldest went too, because she missed the cut off for the age to start, but she was too smart to keep at home and not begin socialize with other kids. Thankfully Supreme Kids came highly recommended to me from a mom I know. This mom told me that she sent ALL 3 of her children to Supreme Kids Academy which made me think something about this place must be working, and it is! The first thing that peaked my interest is that they are Black owned. As a Black mother I wanted my child to be in an environment where she wasn't viewed as an other. I share this because it is hard to find Black owned businesses, and this is something that is important to me. So I figured it may be important to someone reading this review who values being part of the Black community and pouring back into the Black community. The next thing that I liked was that this is a very diverse school, there are children (and staff) from different cultures and backgrounds. They also use an app, which really helped me during those first few weeks that my baby was there. She cried for a while when she first started going, but she was/is very attached to me and this was her first time away from me, my husband, or her grandparents for an extended period of time. The staff were really caring and understanding of her missing me (and me missing her lol). I was assured by everyone that this was a normal process, especially since this was her first time away from home. The staff communicated well with me on the app, and I was able to see that she was doing well by viewing the pictures that were uploaded throughout the day. After a while she barely said bye to me at drop off, which was a good sign, and I was/am able to continue seeing how she was/is doing through the app. Since being here, she has learned so much. The education that she gets is really above the bar, and I'm actually worried that she will be bored when she starts big girl school in the Fall. Since being here she has learned so SOOOOO much. She knows a lot of sight words, can write her first and last name, can count up to about 30 and of course she's learned the basics (ABC's, shapes, colors, etc.) When I asked how to enhance what she's learning, her teacher took the time to provide me homework for a few weeks, so I could work with her at home. This was extremely helpful because my baby wants to keep up with my oldest who has actual homework, so this extra step that the teacher took made a huge difference in getting my baby on a little "homework" routine. This is just one example of how nice the teachers and staff are here at Supreme Kids. They truly care about the kids and go above and beyond. Everyone is professional, they communicate well, they are kind to the kids and the parents, and they truly love and care for the kids here. And again, this is coming from someone who is skeptical and takes a while to trust. I observe and can read when people are being authentic or putting on a front. And they are authentic and loving here. Literally from the owners to the teachers and staff, I have been satisfied with them all. To say that we will miss them is an understatement. The care this preschool has put into my baby is unmatched in this area AND they provide meals with tuition. This is really an amazing preschool and I have definitely encouraged my friends and anyone looking for a QUALITY preschool to check them out. 10/10 in my book!!!
Narissa HarrisMay 6, 2026I can’t express how deeply appreciative I am of the staff at Supreme Kids Academy!!! They treat my daughter so well and are very supportive with how they communicate through her difficult transitions & needs. This is my first child & it was difficult returning to work, but their team is the sweetest with my daughter! I’m very grateful for the peace of mind & her learning!
Brittany FinleyApr 24, 2026This review is long overdue, but necessary. My hope is that sharing my story helps another parent, especially one raising neurodivergent or special-needs children, make an informed decision before enrolling at Supreme Kids Academy. When my twins started attending at about 10 months old, they loved it. Their teachers were kind and seemed to genuinely care. I felt comfortable leaving them there, until I received a call from the Director/Owner, Tara, and her assistant Heidi, requesting a meeting. During the call, Tara explained that after “observing” my twins, she felt they required extra assistance and that the academy “might not be the best fit.” She tried to soften it by saying she had connections with other centers that could “better accommodate them,” but the message was clear, she thought my twins were too much for her staff. The news came out of nowhere. None of the teachers had voiced any concerns. My children were happy and thriving. At the time, they had not yet been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), so I didn’t understand what “extra assistance” even meant. After that meeting, and before we officially withdrew, someone from the staff reached out privately after I replied to one of their messages. That person told me the truth: the decision came directly from Tara. None of the teachers were complaining. The teachers loved my children and worked together to ensure their safety and inclusion, but Tara made the call on her own because she suspected my twins were showing early signs of autism. Later, I asked another staff member, “If I get my children evaluated and it comes back that they’re on the spectrum, would they still be allowed to stay?” I also asked if a one-on-one paraprofessional could accompany them for support. I was told no, that paraprofessionals are a “distraction” to the classroom and it “wouldn’t be feasible.” They said my twins would still need to be removed. To make matters worse, Tara and her assistant added that once my twins “matured a little more,” they’d be welcome to return. That statement didn’t sit right with me. If my children weren’t accepted for who they were at 10 months old, why would I bring them back later just to face the same rejection? And now that I know my children are officially diagnosed, I realize how ignorant and insensitive that comment truly was, autism doesn’t go away. It became clear that Supreme Kids Academy is not a place equipped, or even willing to accommodate neurodivergent children. They may advertise themselves as nurturing and educational, but that care seems to end where “typical” begins. My twins were labeled, dismissed, and excluded instead of being supported. Every child deserves patience, understanding, and inclusion. My children didn’t receive that here. I’m writing this to bring awareness and hopefully spare another family the confusion and heartbreak I experienced. My kids deserved better, and so does yours.
Mahogany LeeOct 8, 2025As a parent, finding the right preschool for my child was a big decision, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my choice of Supreme Kid Acadamy. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere stood out. The staff is not only professional but also incredibly caring, creating an environment where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. I am so excited for the positive experience my child will have during the most important time in her childhood.
Antinia GregorySep 7, 2025I am so grateful I found Supreme Kids Academy! All the teachers are really sweet including the owner and director. My daughter has learned sooo much in the very short amount of time she has been there. From drawing letters and writing out her entire name, to singing songs in different languages, you can tell that this academy does have a focus on making sure that the kids are learning. If you are looking for a fun , safe , clean , and a place where you child WILL learn, look no further this, this is the place for you!

Questions parents ask about SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY
Is SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in California?
- Yes. SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY holds California licence 073408281, currently listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, first issued on January 7, 2019. Confirm current standing with the agency before enrolling.
What kind of child care licence does SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY hold?
- California licenses SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.
How many children can SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY care for?
- SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY is licensed for up to 48 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.
How often has California inspected SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY?
- California records 3 inspection visits to SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY, the most recent on July 23, 2026 and the earliest on record July 14, 2023. The state publishes the dates of these visits but not what they found, so this count reflects licensing activity, not results. Read the findings themselves in California's own facility search.
Has California visited SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY in response to a complaint?
- California records 2 complaint-driven visits to SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY. A complaint visit means someone raised a concern and the state went to look. California does not publish what those visits found, so the count on its own does not say whether any concern was upheld.
Who holds the licence for SUPREME KIDS ACADEMY?
- The licence is held by GIRL BOSS ENTERPRISES LLC. California lists the licensee separately from the facility name, so the two often differ. The facility is in Contra Costa County.
