What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • Totally recommend this school for your child

  • Town & Country Preschool in Westminster is a gem! Coming from an educational background, I've been very intentional about the environment I'd want my child to be in. I didn't want to expose my toddler to screens and technology just yet and preferred for her to be outdoors, which was perfect that Town & Country had a little farm attached to it. Town & Country Preschool was perfect because it provided STEM education in a space fostering socio-emotional learning and student confidence. In just a matter of months, I saw my child elevate her language skills and critical thinking abilities. Despite being a little shy, she came home raving about her teachers, singing new songs, sharing the activities during the day, and the friends she played with in school. The social skills developed were noticeable right away. Additionally, I credit my child's school for helping her become potty-trained before the age of three. I've been sending my child to Town and Country for the summer months for over two years now and appreciate the genuine care her teachers pour into every student. It's clear to me that her teachers--Ms. Rose, Ms. Kris, Ms. Laura, and Ms. Loretta--all love their work.

  • Our youngest grandson attended Town and Country Preschool for approximately 2.5 years. The team nurtured and supported him every minute of each day through academics and personal development. Not only do they have talented teachers, they have animals and a little garden that the children can enjoy while helping with the care. My only regret is that we are unable to take the whole team along to his new school for kindergarten.

  • Town & Country Preschool has been a great place for my children to thrive. I sent my 2 little boys here and love the new director, Miss Laura. She really cares about the kids, gets to know each child, and listens to the parents. The center itself is a dream space for kids - set on a farm, they get plenty of outdoor time (snacks outside too) and access to water tables, playgrounds, open grassy areas, and a chicken coop as well. I’ve seen a tortoise at one point. This school is a more traditional classroom setting which took everyone in our family some getting used to, and as a result my older son definitely improved skills for kindergarten readiness (pencil holding, letter recognition, writing, sitting down, group participation in activities). I highly recommend this little gem of a place!

  • Nice to see such space used for child care and the protected farm animals in a community setting. I’d mostly suggest just for heck of it to plant tones of succulents and beautiful flowers that animals could munch on as well as more trees to make the area more living. I’m a College Student looking for actually such a farm to document for a school project where I’ve got to interview the area / the fantastic animals - how to give back to animals is another pus side and was wondering if this could be an opportunity for me and my student channel of love for animals to grow. Please touch bases w me and hope this could be arranged. I’d mean no harm or stress plus if it’s an option too I’d love to help work with the animals and make sois pay watching the children too if all ur workers are sanitary and well vaccinated.

  • We have been so happy with the care and education that our child has been getting ever since he started at T&C in August ‘20. The owner, director and staff are experienced and are everything we want in a press-school: caring, organized and focused on healthy development. We have also been reassured their many safety precautions during this pandemic, while they allow the kids to be kids. We love how much time they are able to spend outside exploring. Our 3 y.o. always loves going there in the morning. He’s really enjoying and benefiting from the STEM education, "zoophonics" program, and the play time outside in their huge playground and grassy area. He comes home tired mentally and physically each day. We have tried a few different daycares/preschools in the last few years, and we highly recommend this school.
