What California does not publish here

The state publishes when licensing staff visited, not what they found. We do not hold California’s inspection findings, so nothing on this page tells you whether a visit resulted in a citation. A visit count is a measure of licensing activity, and a facility visited more often is not for that reason a worse one. Read the findings in California’s own facility search.

  • We attended a tour session and the director encourage us to leave a feedback. So here we are I didn’t plan to go there because the tour goes too bad 1. The whole tour lasted 2 hours long. We don’t have patient to stay till the end. For the opening, we and other parents stood there and listen for about half an hour. There was a pregnant woman among us. I feel everyone gets tired except the director after first half hour. 2. When she walked us around, she never answered questions directly. My question is “how many children do you currently have?” She said “I will answer that later” Come on! Just a number. I don’t even want an accurate one. Another parents’s questions are not well answered. I remember one asked about their napping time, she answered with some california regulation without a specific time. 3. Teachers there pretended to playing with Children when we were at the playground. When we went to classroom, I saw they were just chatting to each other and no interaction with children. 4. The second hour she gives a presentation with some ppt. We didn’t attend. Maybe she fave more answers. This preschool is not cheap. I don’t feel love of children in their place at all. I don’t believe an educator who can’t answer basic questions directly can take care of my little sunshine well. Even from business viewpoint, maybe a shorter session and a new director will be helpful.

  • Average child care center at a very high cost. This preschool is like an AirBnB where the extra charges keep on coming. Starting with a high tuition fees that doesn't cover 41 days in a year when the school is off. They refer to it as 12 payments to make it seem like 12 months but it's essentially only for 11 months. Excluding 11 federal holidays, you can book backup care for the remaining 30 days at extra charges. This back up care is essentially the same location, same teachers, same friends and same toys just no school provided lunch. We paid Materials fee of $429 for a tote bag and a rollie pollie. To top it all, the withdrawal terms in their contract are extremely one sided. We ended up paying a hefty penalty of $ 14 K. Still glad we moved to another preschool.

  • Our son attended Windsor Preschool for 2.5 years, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This school is truly exceptional, thanks to its strong parent community and outstanding teachers and staff. All the teachers and support staff genuinely care about each child’s development. Their dedication, patience, and nurturing approach helped our son grow both socially and emotionally, leaving a lasting positive impact on him. One of the highlights for our son was the engaging visits and presentations from parents and essential community members, including police officers, doctors, and firefighters. The field trips were always something he looked forward to, especially the visits to museums, Costco, Midwife and the Baker, and Pizza My Heart, among others. He was also thrilled to attend various ballet performances at the neighborhood ballet school, with The Nutcracker being his absolute favorite. The weekly trips to the neighborhood park and Thursday Share Day were always exciting for him. As parents, we truly appreciated Windsor’s thoughtful presentation on elementary school selection. They invited alum parents to share their experiences with different schools, which gave us invaluable insight as we navigated the process for our son. The staff was always there to answer any questions we had, providing guidance and support throughout. Windsor Preschool is a nurturing, enriching environment where our son not only learned and grew but also made wonderful memories. We are so grateful for the incredible experience he had there and highly recommend Windsor Preschool to any parent seeking a top-notch preschool for their child.

  • I am grateful every day that we were lucky enough to get into Windsor!! TLDR…I feel like my child is loved, supported, truly seen, and cared for here. This place, people and teaching methodologies are truly special. My daughter has spent a year at Windsor so far. She was 2.5 years old when she joined and never had any exposure to other kids/teachers. She was an absolute Covid baby with extreme attachment issues. After a few short weeks at Windsor, we started to see her social, emotional and language skills blossoming!!! She was thriving in an environment where it’s all hands on dec…from teachers/leadership/to support staff, everyone has enriched my daughter in such special ways. As a 3.5 year old now she is a confident, empathetic, communicative, curious and proud little girl! She come’s home sometimes with the most spectacular surprises …from learning a new song, to playing a new musical instrument, to counting 1-10 in a different language!!! She tells us about the delicious lunch the school made her for lunch, shares stories about what an amazing time she had on a field trip….she would even ask to go back to school on the weekend sometimes!! (Not kidding). I love hearing that she loves her school so much. And as for my perspective as a parent, the Windsor staff has gone above and beyond! Always super communicative, supportive, so creative, such a wealth of knowledge and devotion to child development…. they never skipped a beat! So grateful to have them as teachers and partners!!! After looking at other preschools up and down the peninsula, there was just no comparison. - great schedule/ not many no school days (and backups care always available) - Terrific Heath protocols/staff is diligent/well informed/ and keeps a high bar for standards class cleanliness. - Lunch provided …saving me hours of planing/cooking/packing - Filed trips!!! Truly I spurring little ones to explore the world around them - Outstanding curriculum! And much much more! - Warm community - I look forward to my child growing at Windsor for years to come!

  • Windsor is a beautiful school, top to bottom, inside and out. With so many programs abound , Windsor is a testament to quality and well rounded education: highly thoughtful, carefully curated and engaging curriculum-activities month to month, day to day. It is not an austere, academically driven environment, instead one inviting exploration and play. Perhaps most importantly, its lifeblood being its teachers and staff who are top notch experienced, dedicated and LOVING who prioritize the children's well being and development not just cognitively but socially and emotionally. In turn, it's no wonder our children are excited to be part of theschool, and parents gravitate to the community this school creates. Windsor is true to its commitment of providing a safe and loving place for students to learn real world ideas and I cant thank them enough for what they have provided my child. I would recommend Windsor to any parent!

What kind of child care licence does WINDSOR PRESCHOOL hold?

California licenses WINDSOR PRESCHOOL as a day care center, a category that covers preschool-age children in a centre-based programme. The category comes from the state's own licence record, not from the provider.

How many children can WINDSOR PRESCHOOL care for?

WINDSOR PRESCHOOL is licensed for up to 95 children at one time. Licensed capacity is a ceiling set by the state, not a count of current enrolment or of available places.

How often has California inspected WINDSOR PRESCHOOL?

California records 3 inspection visits to WINDSOR PRESCHOOL, the most recent on April 2, 2026 and the earliest on record March 4, 2022. Has California visited WINDSOR PRESCHOOL in response to a complaint?
