I DO NOT AND WILL SAY IT AGAIN I DO NOT recommend this daycare center they are very unprofessional and they leave classes out of ratios these are children that are not being attended to the directors or horrible and they are constantly talking bad about children and about there own staff they spread personal business about family's and staff. it is a very horrible place to put children
Chastin AbbatoApr 1, 2026Maybe things have changed but while my son was here he learned one word “Agua” that’s fine we are a primarily English speaking household and Vietnamese is a second language so it threw us off a bit. We were on a waiting list for another daycare up the street called The Wooden shoe, and within about two weeks, he was speaking sentences and many other things which was a real eye-opener to what he was dealing with from before. The Director spot changed twice and we hadn’t even been there for a half year. When it opened up the second time, I had asked one of the ladies if he was gonna take it, and she said she was way under qualified But within a week she accepted it. Her original statement didn’t help me feel any better about what we were putting our kid through. I ended up seeing her at the local King soopers and she acted like she didn’t know who I was however, she said hi to me every day and saw me At the day care afterwards and acted like I was her best friend. When we laughed, I didn’t give a reason to why we didn’t even tell them we were looking at another place. In fear of them treating our kid like crap we actually just said we were going to Home daycare him at our house which didn’t help out because he just treated us like crap as well. Parking was not the best so we were Ridiculed for parking on the street and the few spots on the side was taken up by a few people who Thought their cars were too good to park across the street with the rest of the employees. This was all a few years ago, so maybe things have changed. I heard they got new owners But doesn’t look like much has updated.
Justin P. Donley (Donley)Dec 11, 2025Five stars for 7 Steps Learning Academy South! Thank you Stefani the director who has an infectious laugh and is a caring, dedicated and friendly leader. Extra gratitude for teachers Kristi, CJ, Denise and Suzanne who all participated, took photos and videos of the kids singing, dancing and acting with Play-Ground Theatre. Our children's theatre had a wonderful time at this school and we are happy to tell parents that 7 Steps Learning Academy offers their kids extra events like Play-Ground Theatre to enhance their curriculum. Recommend.
Mia SoleJul 2, 2025We truly love this daycare and would highly recommend it to any family! Our son is still enrolled in Step 6 (he started in Step 4) and our daughter has graduated from daycare. The team is very professional, organized, great communicators and plan wonderful activities for the children. Most importantly, my children have come home every day with a big smile telling me all about their adventures. It's a wonderful, safe and clean learning environment and they celebrate all families and are easy to work with. Thank you 7 Steps for taking such beautiful care of our children!
Ellie KarreJun 3, 2025I love this daycare the teachers are excellent. I have had the pleasure of dealing with the teachers and directors. The center is located in Arvada they have 2 locations. I would recommend this daycare as it is clean.and they employ wonderful teachers. The place is ran like a precision timepiece thanks to Jordan and Ana wonderful directors, are genuinely kind and empathetic. I can’t rave enough about the teachers they keep the children busy with an excellent curriculum designed for each and every age group. Kind regards, Gloria
Gloria SigalaMar 9, 2025We happily stumbled upon 7 Steps Learning Academy and could not be happier with the love and care our daughter received there. We started at age 1 and have happily move through the classrooms until age 3. The only reason we are leaving is to join our local school system. Each teacher and aid has worked directly with our daughter to feel safe and comfortable. I love the app used to track everything and send updates, it has made our daycare experience easy and seamless. We cannot say enough good things about the daycare!

Questions parents ask about 7 Steps Learning Academy
How many infants and toddlers can 7 Steps Learning Academy take?
- Colorado licenses 7 Steps Learning Academy for 10 infants and 39 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near 7 Steps Learning Academy?
- 7 Steps Learning Academy sits in the area covered by the Gateway Partnership for Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does 7 Steps Learning Academy accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- Yes. The state record shows 7 Steps Learning Academy authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
