0 Stars (If I Could) – Absolute Chaos and Neglect I wouldn’t trust this place to watch a goldfish, let alone a child. If you’re looking for a daycare that combines the aesthetic of a condemned building with the professional energy of a shrug, then congratulations, you’ve found it. For everyone else: run. The "Facility" and Staff The building is a total disaster—run-down, filthy, and packed with equipment that looks like it was salvaged from a 1980s garage sale. It’s not just "old"; it feels genuinely unsafe. As for the staff? I’ve seen more enthusiasm at a DMV on a Monday morning. The teachers look absolutely miserable and clearly haven't had a day of proper training in their lives. Communication Breakdown Good luck getting an update on your kid. A significant portion of the staff lacks any formal educational background, and many cannot speak or write in English. I’m all for diversity, but when I can’t get a basic sentence out of the person responsible for my child’s life regarding their well-being, we have a massive problem. Communication isn't just difficult; it’s nonexistent. Safety? What’s That? Our kids came home with a rotating collection of bruises, scrapes, and even bite marks. The response from the staff? "I don't know." They never have a story, they never know who did what, and they consistently mislabel serious injuries as "minor." It’s gaslighting at its finest. Pure Neglect to the point of emergency. The "care" here is a joke. Hygiene: We’ve dealt with constant, painful diaper rashes because they clearly stop checking or changing kids late in the day. We have to deal with two different incidences with one of our children both having an accident at the daycare. One accident caused the varicose vein in my child's face to erupt and now has left a permanent mark on her face. We had another incident where the daycare should have notified us immediately after the incident to take our child to the hospital due to the severity of the injury. They decided to wait till we picked her up from daycare at the end of the day. Long story short, she ended up having to go to children's hospital and be put in a cast. Daycares response was well we're very sorry but we're not held liable. Theft or Incompetence: Don’t bother packing nice extra clothes. Ours went missing constantly, only to be replaced by some random stranger's stained ones in our bag. This place is a warehouse for children, not a daycare. Save yourself the stress and your child the trauma—look literally anywhere else.
Jonathan FriedmanJan 5, 2026Balance Early Learning Academy is truly an extraordinary place! From the moment you step inside, you can feel the warmth and passion the staff have for creating an engaging, nurturing environment for the kids. One of the most unique aspects of this academy is the live music sessions for the children—it’s incredible to see their faces light up as they explore rhythm and sound in such a joyful way. The staff are exceptional, not only in teaching but also in fostering creativity, curiosity, and confidence in every child. The facility itself is stunning—beautifully designed with thoughtful details that make it both inviting and inspiring for kids and parents alike. The combination of a visually appealing space and such a dedicated team creates the perfect environment for early learning. Balance Early Learning Academy goes above and beyond in every way. I couldn’t recommend it more highly for parents seeking a place where their children will thrive and truly enjoy the experience of learning!
Yara MelanoFeb 8, 2025Our daughter attended when she was young, we took a small break and now both of our little ones attend. They have been a blessing - especially now with our daughter seeming to have some rebellion issues, they are working with her. All the teachers really seem to care and our children learn so many things even simple processes like when to cover your mouth or wash your hands.
Raelene MillerSep 26, 2023My son has been going here since he was 3 months old and he is about to be 2 now. Words really can’t express how thankful I am for everyone at Balance Early Learning Capacity. They go over and above for all the kiddos there. They treat everyone as if they were family including parents. My son is OBSESSED WITH SARAH!! He literally will throw a fit if he doesn’t get to say goodbye or have her hold him before we leave at the end of the day. He has built such a strong bond with her it’s so great to see. We just love everyone there. It really is hard to find good daycares now a days, but this daycare is by far the best in the business. 😊
Brittany OvertonSep 20, 2023We love BELA! The teachers truly care about the students. My kids absolutely love them! And we are always so impressed with what and how much they are learning. Additionally, the office staff does a great job of communicating with us. Everyone is so friendly and professional. We could not love our experience more.
Sarah HurtadoSep 18, 2023This daycare is nothing short of amazing. My children have been with them for about 2 years, and I would not dream of taking them anywhere else. My children have learned so much, and are so loved by all the staff. They enjoy going every day! Even with one of my kids being special needs they have always been super patient and kind and worked with us thru the bad days. And had gone beyond when we needed a little extra support with it. My babies are so lucky to get to spend the day with such caring loving people. Thank you to everyone! We love you guys!

Questions parents ask about Balance Early Learning Academy
How many infants and toddlers can Balance Early Learning Academy take?
- Colorado licenses Balance Early Learning Academy for 10 infants and 20 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near Balance Early Learning Academy?
- Balance Early Learning Academy sits in the area covered by the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does Balance Early Learning Academy accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- Yes. The state record shows Balance Early Learning Academy authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
