  • Serious safety concern at Bright Horizon. We have been with Bright Horizons for a little over two years, specifically at the Interlocken location. Our son is 2.5 years old. Until now, aside from a few minor issues, our experience had been fine. That changed yesterday. After picking our son up after nine hours at school, we discovered he was still wearing the same diaper we put him in that morning. The diaper was extremely heavy, ripped, and visibly disintegrating, with white material coming out and covering his legs. We knew immediately it was the same diaper because we use pull-ups at home and send regular diapers to school, per the school’s request. This was a pull-up, meaning it had been on him all day. We checked the daycare app to confirm diaper changes. Nothing was logged. The only diaper change recorded was the one we did that morning. Our child went an entire school day without a single diaper change. We escalated this to site leadership and higher leadership. We were told an HR investigation would be opened. However, this location is scheduled to close in two days, which makes it clear there will be no meaningful accountability for what happened. We immediately decided not to bring our child back. Bright Horizons offered only a two-day refund. When my husband asked leadership whether they would feel comfortable sending their own child back after this incident, the answer was yes. That response is what concerns us most. This situation, and the response to it, came from higher leadership, not just a single classroom or staff member. If leadership believes this is acceptable, it raises serious concerns about the standards being upheld and what behavior is allowed to continue. Leaving a toddler in the same diaper for nine hours is not a minor oversight. It is a basic care failure. I am sharing this to warn other parents. Please ask questions and trust your instincts.

  • Our family's first visit to Montessori on the Mall was last week, and we had an excellent experience. The space is beautiful, clean, secure, and much larger than expected. We traded several emails with the teachers and administration beforehand, and they were responsive, professional, and helpful. Transitions for toddlers can be tough, and they made it so easy. Most importantly, our 3 year old daughter loved it and she was excited to go back for day 2. The teachers were so wonderful. Impressed all around! Would recommend to anyone.

  • Jennifer, Pam, Ms. Denise, and Ms. Becca made our experience with Bright Horizons back-up care extra special. The staff was super welcoming, and our kids loved the experience. We used this center for 1 week of backup care and definitely plan to do so again. In addition to the staff, the facility itself is very warm and inviting. Can't say enough nice things about this place, thanks for the great experience!

  • We've had a wonderful first experience at a daycare here at Bright Horizons Montessori on the Mall. The teachers in the infant rooms are kind, enthusiastic and energized every day. We've seen our daughter really blossom and get excited to come here everyday. It's not easy to run a childcare facility with all the moving parts and rules and regulations to follow, but Pam and Jen do a wonderful job of making this place feel like home.

  • My daughter loved Bright Horizons on the Mall- we are new to town and my (at the time) 18 MO had been through so much change. Ms. Sarah (who my daughter still talks about) and Ms. Cindy lead a very joyful little bunch of toddlers and the whole experience for my daughter was a happy and consistent force in her life. We loved the brightness and cleanliness and the toys and books! She did not get sick even ONCE in her Bright Horizons class! I also appreciated the balanced, Montessori-inspired approach. We switched schools when we were offered enrollment at another school in the area and I often regret taking her out of Bright Horizons on the Mall. The only difficult thing is pick up and drop off- but we started parking on 17th st. and running up the stairs which was a nice hack (and good exercise). The admin staff is also very respectable.

  • We experience such peace of mind sending our child to BHMOM (Bright Horizons Montessori on the Mall). We admire the teachers for their expertise and the level of care they provide the students. We appreciate working with the staff on any changes needed in our child's care and they are responsive to our needs. We can track our child's progress throughout the day and enjoy receiving weekly curriculum emails and quarterly development recaps. We are pleased with all of the milestones our child has achieved under their care. We also really appreciate how reliable the care is and how skilled the caregivers are.
