  • This was my daughter’s first sleep away camp experience. She did have a great time!! Made a ton of friends and still talks about her good memories. However, she does not want to return. She said there were many “they/them” counselors. I was not aware that this was the kind of camp we were sending her to. It made her uncomfortable. Kids shouldn’t have to navigate the mental illness of gender dysphoria. I was already nervous about sending her away for almost a month, with no communication. I trusted these strangers with my child, and while she was there she was subjected to this weirdness. I’m writing this so other parents know what they are getting into here. If I would’ve known we would have choose a different camp.

  • My son attended CGL this year. It was a wonderful experience for him. The place is great and the staff very experienced. He made lot of new friends with whom they plan to attend next year's camp. Highly recommended.

  • This was my child's first experience with sleepaway camp. We decided to start with the mini, which was 5 nights. Wow, was I impressed! The counselors were friendly, organized, professional and I felt good about leaving my kiddo in their hands. The camp is great about communication so you always know what they've been up to that day. My husband and I loved getting daily pictures. And yes, in each one of them our child was grinning from ear to ear. When I picked him up, he had so many wonderful stories to tell us about friends, activities, being silly, the food and fun! He said he always felt safe, respected and part of the group. There was such a good comraderie amongst his cabin mates. They became fast friends and were sad to leave eachother! Highly recommend this camp, especially if youve got a younger kid who is going for the first time.

  • My two children, L and M, have absolutely thrived at this camp—they’ve loved every moment of it. This was their third summer attending, and they’re already counting down the days until next year! They always come home bursting with stories and cherished memories. As many others have noted, this isn’t a camp focused on flashiness or brand names—it's about belonging, acceptance, and genuine connection. It’s a place where kids can truly be themselves, unplug from screens, immerse in nature, and build meaningful friendships. M faced a few challenges during their time there at one point, but the camp staff handled everything with such care and professionalism. Things turned around beautifully, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this camp. It’s been an incredibly positive experience for our family. We highly recommend it!

  • Great sleep away camp with the full mountain experience that my son loved. The mini camp are a prefect introduction before the longer session.
