  • My grandson attends Clara Brown Entrepreneurial Academy. His first year was filled with excitement and novelty, but unfortunately, he is now encountering some difficulties. While I recognize that the principal and teachers are doing their utmost, there is always room for improvement. I strongly believe that an increase in African American teachers is essential so that our children can have role models they truly relate to. My grandson feels that some teachers show a lack of concern for certain students. Furthermore, I have personally experienced a significant amount of negativity. Improvement is imperative because children will not care about their education unless they feel genuinely cared for.

  • This was our first year at Clara Brown after hearing great things. So glad we decided to make this our school. My daughter is thriving, she has such a great teacher. I love the communication from the faculty, everyone is so welcoming as well!

  • Sending my child to CBEA has been such a great decision for both of us. The staff are friendly, principal is welcoming and, teachers truly care about my child's education. They seem to know all the kids by name. I take uber to take my child to school and the drivers are always amazed at how friendly the staff are. If you want teachers and staff who care, CBEA IS THE PLACE!

  • Our three children are thriving at Clara Brown this school year! I am an admittedly tough critic when it comes to education, and I have been very impressed by the incredible passion, kindness, and energy the teachers, admin, and staff bring to their work each day. The environment sets students up for creativity and success. The values and mindsets permeate through the culture - my favorite is that of not being afraid to fail. The communication and opportunities for family and community engagement are plentiful. To compliment core subjects, students have opportunities to experiment and research and create (3D printing and animation!), and the labs/specials are fantastic. We would all highly recommend CBEA.
