We love community Preschool! We first heard about the school from our neighbor whose son attended about 22 years ago. He had Mrs. Martinez as his teacher and we were blessed to have her as my eldest son’s teacher for his first year. My youngest started in Ms Hanna’s 2.5s class. They both had a wonderful introduction to school and made good friends. My eldest went on to kindergarten this year and is thriving thanks to his preparation from CPS. My husband and I love that we are able to be so involved in the school and volunteer in class. It is such a warm, loving environment and I am sure going to miss it when my youngest moves on to elementary school.
Nikki MontanezMar 16, 2026Gosh… where do I begin? I’m a stay at home mama and was very worried about sending my kiddo to prek until I found community preschool. The teachers are literal angels. They are so warm and welcoming, caring and trustworthy. My son doesn’t want to go to any other school ever again because he loves it here so much…and let’s be honest, I do too. I’m already planning on sending my second son there and he’s only a month old :) I couldn’t be more thankful that I found them.
Kyrsten DeringerMar 15, 2026I’m so thrilled to have found a preschool that is caring, safe, affordable, and makes me feel like family. My experience at community preschool for the past three years has been full of joy, and learning. I watched my child thrive at community preschool and move on ready for Kindergarten. My second child is currently enrolled and loving it. We love being involved! Every teacher at community preschool is a treasure!
Dina DellaRuffaFeb 27, 2026We have a timid and observant now 4yo only child and were looking for a place she could meet new kids and expand her motor, social, and emotional skills. It was also important my husband and I could be involved in the school. Community Preschool has provided all of this and more! She absolutely has thrived while there. All 3 of the teachers and the administrative staff are knowledgeable, compassionate, and welcoming. We are looking forward to continuing preschool next year in the 4s class!
Emily DuhancikApr 10, 2024We are so grateful we found Community Preschool! After a negative experience at another local Co-op preschool, we found exactly what we were looking for here at Community. All of teachers are exactly what you envision your child’s preschool teacher to be like- warm, caring, joyful- and you can tell they throughly enjoy working with kids. The school does a great job interacting with parents and giving them opportunities to be included. There is a level of transparency with a co-op preschool that you don’t get from regular preschools. Whether you parent help in the classroom or serve on the board, you have visibility and input into the classroom, school, decisions and policies. We have also truly loved the play based learning environment and have seen enormous growth and learning in our child! Community preschool is a little gem in this town!
Kathryn BovaMar 21, 2023Extremely happy with Community Preschool, all the teachers/staff are amazing. My kid loves going to school and learning, and playing with his friends. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a school that is a great environment to be in.
